The eldest daughter of the Park family was the definition of achieving things through hard work where talent lacked. A curious child who pestered with questions everyone who she came in touch transformed into a useful tool to society. Her vast field of knowledge helped her at school and excluding her not so social personality, she was preferred when there were group projects.
She resembled very much to her late grandfather, both curious and studious. They would spend hours together reading history books, fishing and discussing about life. Her lively character brought endearment to the elder. Being so close with her grandfather gave Jihyo the ability to befriend herself with the elder people more easily. The ignorance of kids her age left her cold and not rarely did she received a scolding from her grandfather for her reluctance to make young friends. He was the one who made her surpass that preconception and succeeded in making her more talkative. Soon her bubbly personality attracted friends her age. Friends meant time and so Jihyo did not visit her grandfather as often as before. The latter understood and felt glad for her despite missing her.
The thing that caused Jihyo to retreat in her shell was her grandfather’s death. He was her support and facing the world without him scared her. The family was there for her and despite losing someone, the bond they have become stronger. She will never forget the time they spend together in that period. Her father had a small real estate company and her mother was a doctor. Because of their careers they were not close, but not by heart, but by distance.
