Chapter 8
Of Yehets and OhoratsSuho held a bottle of water to Sehun's parched lips. "Come on, do it for Luhan hyung. You can't see him again if you don't get better."
Sehun pressed his lips on the bottle, finally taking a drink. Suho sighed with relief.
Sehun's broken voice pierced the temporary quiet. "He took care of me when we were trainees. I missed my parents and he always made me feel better. He promised he would always be my brother...."
Suho pressed his fingers against his temples, sighing. Sehun sounded almost like a kid... and then he remembered, Sehun was basically still a kid. Training and debuting under a brutal schedule while most of his peers were worrying about impressing their crush, deciding on which movie to watch, and then going home to their parents.
"Sehun, you know that things change. Sometimes it hurts us, but the best we can do is hold on to beautiful memories."
He reached over and wiped Sehun's tears with his thumb.
"You're going to leave too, aren't you," came a small choked voice.
"What did you say?"
"I heard you on the phone before. Talking about how much you didn't want to be our leader. And how annoying I was." Sehun sniffled. "That's why I kicked you out hyung. I didn't want to keep bringing you down."
Suho cringed. "Oh... no no no. Sehun don't ever believe that. Don't believe that for a minute. Being a leader is stressful, but there is nowhere I'd rather be and nothing else I'd rather do. Of course you get on my nerves sometimes, but that's what brothers are for. I'll always be there for you and protect you Sehun, don't worry."
"In the future," added Suho, taking Sehun's hand, "You can tell me anything. Whatever you feel, just tell me and don't hide anything. I got you Sehun-ah."
