Minho was struck, he could only stare at the seeping blood just a few metres away of him. His heart clenched as his teeth started to ache painfully. If he wasn't careful, he would fly to the other side of the room in no time. His mind still enchanted from the scene just a few seconds ago, full of Taemin, yet he needed to think straight. He hadn't expected them to come tonight, phase 1 had started. 

His vampire senses forced him to turn away from the blood, yet he still could smell it just as good. His gaze met Onew's. 'Did you hear anything?' Onew was referring to his super-hearing. 'Unfortunately I didn't.' He nodded, 'Meeting downstairs in 10 minutes.'

Taemin shifted, he was still a bit drunk and sitting on a leather couch wasn't helping at all. He tugged at his messy clothes, jealous of the others who still seemed to wear their clothes nicely and blew his hair out of his face. It was a mistake to get tipsy without having a meeting the night before, so many things that could go wrong. Thus he needed to sober up, only to think clearly during the brainstorm session. A glass of water in his right hand sparkled diamonds on the ceiling, busy reflecting the yellow lamp to his right. 

Taemin looked up, nearly everyone was seated in the coffee room. Taemin in the middle on the couch, Onew on the other couch, facing him, Minho sat in a chair near the wall and Kai stood behind the Taemin's couch. 

Onew stood up, making himself visible for everyone before he cleared his throat. 'I think we all know why we are having this speed meeting. About fifteen minutes ago our carriage driver got attacked. This happened without any of us knowing or hearing anything. Kai, could you give me the details?' Kai cleared his throat. 

'Look, I am no doctor but I'm sure it must've hurt like hell. A deep gush in his underarm, the bones were nearly visible. He was far gone, mumbling stuff that didn't even happen. He's under treatment right now by that guy but I think the situation is pretty hopeless. There's no way we can stitch that.' Minho's head popped up and made eye-contact with Taemin.
