Blessed BulletsOr at least, I thought it was the mango. I woke up again and my eyes fell upon a wall. It was made out of a dark wood with thick outlines on the curves.
As I closed-and reopened my eyes I came to the realisation that it was a ceiling. It was a simple ceiling and in the corner of my eye something pointed downwards. It was a small light, it was covered with a silver cage and the light shined brightly through the holes. I squinted my eyes at the sight.
In the corner left was a small door, it wasn't that huge, probably big enough for two stick-thin people. Suddenly a wave of exhaustion washed over me and I tried to wiggle my toes. I yoked my muscles, feeling how sore I was from the carriage-ride. I lifted my back and tensed my muscles up again. I pushed my body up and swinged my legs over the side of the bed, my feet slammed against each other and my eyes fell upon two black shoes. They were positioned next to the bed, as if someone thought ahead. I put them on and stood up, adjusting my blouse and waistcoat as I put on my coat.
There must be a mirror, usually they were in bathrooms, due to superstition. As I spun around the room, I found another door. My feet made their way over and I was at the doorknob, turning it without hesitation. The door slammed open and I came to face a hallway, I softly turned around and closed the door.
My eyes found their way to the other door and I rushed forward once again, this time I twisted the doorknob filled with confidence.
It was a small bathroom, there was a tub, a wooden tub, a sink and a mirror, behind the mirror was probably a medicine cabin.
It probably was enough for a small family but for me? It was too small. I came forward to check myself in the mirror, my hair was still in place and my blouse wasn't wrinkled. I sighed in relieve as I spun around and travelled through the hallway.
There were at least six doors, including mine, I counted them as I walked down the hallway, eve
