Paris, November 1880  

The streets were still the same, they reeked of vermin and death, which was rancid and abominable.

I despised Paris with every cell in my body. It was also no surprise that I first turned the offer down. The offer which made me go to Paris.. 

I had to exterminate every vampire in Paris. 

It wasn't a simple task, the city was huge and I was the only one who could do the task. 

I had many names, each one of them suiting me or my tactics. I was the best of them all. 

My best friend, Onew, was a vampire, but he was an exception, he choose to fight for humans. He was in England right now, for on a mission. 

We had met each other in an inauspicious situation but over the years we grew close. 

For me, it was hard to let people in, since a lot of people wanted to kill me. 

Why I came to Paris was a riddle. But I guess I did it for the money. I mean, if I already got paid for only travelling to Paris, how could I turn it down?

As soon as I set a foot out of my carriage, I was met with a very small chubby woman. 'Excuse me but are you Sir. Lee ? If so, then please follow me.' Monsieur would've also be an option. I rose out of the carriage with grace and when I heard a gasp and saw her eyes widen, I hid a smirk. I knew I looked mighty and I wasn't afraid to show off. 

That's the effect I had on people, I looked dangerous and terrifying, but still graceful and mighty.

My gray suit was decorated with a long black cape, the best and most expensive material and my cane was adorn with the most expensive gems. I wore leather gloves and my shoes were poignant black.

The woman, on the other hand, was a brunette with a very thick accent. It was a torture for my ears. It was probably the worst accent I had ever heard. 

She wore very dirty clothes, which she had attempted to clean but failed, and her face was slumped. A few strands of gray hair plus, her eyes were duff. 

My eyes shot to the door, terrifying fast and sharp. In the doorway stood a servitor, the same went for him. Very dirty clothes and a slumped face.

They both looked worthless.
