CHAPTER 4.

                    " Cause, if you like me, then I might as well tell you I like you too."

WHAT DID HE SAY?

But, before I could answer him, someone pulled my arm.

It was Key.

WHY did he do that?  His face was so serious. It almost made me fell for him again.

And I didn't want that to happen.

DooJoon looked at Key.

Key glared at DooJoon.

" Listen, " he said. " You got what you want. We can just go, right?"

DooJoon didn't say anything.

" Okay then. We're gonna go. Besides, we don't want to be late for our class."

Key then grabbed  DooJoon's hand and took my cellphone and gave it to me.

" Wait." DooJoon said when Key was about to leave. " What if.."

" What? " Key replied.

" What if.. the bet is off?"

Key was surprised to hear that. "WHAT? no. No way that's gonna happen, you can't just do that!"

Even I was surprised of what DooJoon just said.

DooJoon gave Key a smile.

Somehow, I felt like there was something behind that smile of his.

" Okay then." DooJoon then left with Gi-kwang and L.Joe. He pushed Key by his shoulder as he walked out of the alley.

When they left, I approached Key.

Before I could even say something to him, he quickly left.

I smiled to myself and looked at my cellphone.

" He helped me. " I squealed to myself and tried to calm down.

I walked to school after that. SMILING.

         Nothing really happened at school that day. Just that, Key pretended like he didn't know me, or as if  we never met. I was disappointed in him.

The bell rang for the last class and everyone was packing their stuff. Ready to go home.

I was walking in the hallway when someone pushed me and I tripped.

I could hear them laughing. Girls.

I stood up and turned to them.

There were four girls, all crossing their arms.

" Yaa. Who are you to confess to my Kibum (KEY)? huh?" a tall girl with long curly  hair said and scoffed.

I was confused. " What?"

A pony-tailed hair girl walked to me, " The school president has a girlfriend. Okay?"

That shocked me. A girlfriend? How come I didn't know about this?

Then, I remembered what Key told me when we met on the rooftop.

' Besides, I have someone in my heart.'

Could this be her?

She was really beautiful.

I bowed and apologized.

She was puzzled.

" What are you bowing for?" she stepped back.

I looked up to her and smiled. " I shouldn't have act like that if I knew you were his girlfriend. I'm sorry."

The girl had a confuse face expression when I said that.

Then, I walked away as fast as I could.

I was so tired that I couldn't think really straight.

I was now walking out of school. Key was infront of me.

I wanted to greet him, but I changed my mind.

He could be sick just seeing me these days.

Oh well.

 I turned to the left pathway and walked home.

                     That night, I was thinking of that DooJoon guy. And about what he said to me.

And about his smile he gave to Key.

I had a bad feeling somehow. Something was going to happen.

 But, I just went to sleep and waited for the sun to rise and get ready for school.

                   The next day, I was in the classroom when I heard these two guys talking about Key.

I pretended that I was getting a book next to the book shelf where they were sitting and eavesdropped.

" I bet it really hurt!"

His friend laughed. " I know right? It makes me wonder though. How did he get beaten? "

"  WOW. His face was like- " he laughed, "He's not a cool school president now!"

It made me wondered too.

Beaten? School president got beaten?  Our school president was ... KEY.

But how did he..

I was so worried that I looked for him in the entire school.

Too bad he was in a meeting with the other student council members.

When the meeting was over, Key was the first one to get out from the meeting room.

I saw him when he walked out.

He had a small bandage on his left cheek. And his lips had a slight cut.

When I saw his face, I was so speechless.

I caught up with him.

The other students were so surprised.

I touched Key's shoulder.

And he turned around.

As soon as he knew it was me, he ignored me and just continued walking in the hallway.

I caught up with him again." Key, wait."

He stopped.

The students in the hallway were watching.

I stopped infront of him.

He didn't even look at me.

" What happened?" I asked, feeling worried.

Key didn't reply.

I asked him again, " yaa. What happened?"

Curiousity filled me.

Finally, he looked at me with an annoyed look.

" Do you have to appear yesterday?"

What? I didn't get it.

He pushed me by my shoulder and just walked into his classroom.

What actually happened?
