Jungkook's POV

"hey uh they said you gotta finish these cases by next week" a man in a familiar voice approached me as I quietly sit back at my computer typing loads of reports that i don't know why they kept me on rushing it

"Do i really need to finish that by next week? tell them i have lots of work to do and yet they kept on pressuring me" i said in an irritated voice. it's their habit to just pile me up with cases yet there are a lot of us who does the same thing why don't they just distribute these cases so we have an even workload.

"looks like someone is stressed early in the morning"

"oh I am"

Jimin walked inside our office with a smile plastered on his face. How nice it is to be just as cheerful as him. I'm a morning person but my morning is not nice today. 

"cheer up! you'll finish all of those by next week i can feel it". Taehyung said while piling up stacks of report onto my second desk with a smile as jimin gave me and taehyung a cup of hot coffee. 

These three are in my department. We usually are the ones who handle cases that most prosecutors or lawyers avoid. because they involve high profile men and personalities that can make their life at stake. Well personally, i don't care about that much because i can get their bodies behind bars before they can see my blood in front of their faces. 

I entered the law firm right after I graduated law school. And when I came here the first person I met was park jimin. How i remember his face that time. he was still like a grown man with a kid's face. he was wearing glasses when he greeted me and introduced himself as my lead investigator. at first i'm awkward with him because i don't know he looked too intimidating for me since he got here first. but after some time he is really like a kid. we clicked and handled things at the time like it was some kind of game that we're betting on. After a few months Kim Taehyung entered our law firm. And boy I tell you when he first entered here a lot of our female staffs were following him. I thought he was a celebrity or some sort but turns out he was working for us as well. he introduced himself kindly and said that he is told to be in charge of tech stuff in our department. i thought i have someone that i can rely on when i have a lot to type. i guess i stand corrected

"Jungkook could you look at this case it seems weird"  Said by jimin as he stood up and approached me. He handed me the case printed on stacks of paper and noticed that it was just a common case. I tilted my head slightly noticing how this really is weird when i browsed the case and found out that it's just a normal case of robbery. "What's so weird about this?" I asked with a curious tone

"Notice it carefully the suspects are kids. Isn't it weird for kids to rob a bank?" Jimin said while resting both of his hands on my table. He's right it's really weird because most cases involve gunmen of some rich guy trying to get rich. What's with these kids? Are they really that broke?

*knock knock*

"Come in!". Taehyung said while playing games on his computer.

"Good morning sir. A mail for Jeon Jungkook?". The mailman said as he handed over the mail to taehyung who is near the door before bowing his head and closed the door. He opened the mail and surprisingly its a letter. wow is someone confessing on me cause i didn't receive letters in years other than the notice of our electric bill and water

"Looks like someone missed you" Jimin said jokingly while glancing at taehyung who is reading the letter. "Did you have a fight with someone? I don't think that this looks good" Taehyung said handing me over the letter and took a quick scan of it. Apparently it's a long letter. A threat to be exact. As I read the letter i can see that the person behind this is very mad at me. Ugh what did I do this time

"It's a threat. That's why it doesn't look good"

"What?" Since when did you receive these threats?" Taehyung asked in concerned tone

"Remember when I handled multiple cases pertaining to companies putting drugs on food and beverages so that they wouldn't get suspected of doing drug trafficking. Since that happened i received multiple threats. Some even called me in the middle of the night saying that they're watching me and there's a gun pointed near me."

"And? You didn't told anyone? you didn't even bother telling the police or taehyung so that the person can be tracked" Jimin butted in while brushing his hair upwards with a puzzled look on his face.

"Nah I have a lot of things to do than just crying over these threats. You know if you want to kill someone just kill him. Not send that person multipl
