Somewhere in the past events...

Jieun always believed, and still do, her feeling for Young Bae will be just between an artiste and their fan. She is his fan from the beginning of Big Bang debut. She choose him as her bias and she will always collect Big Bang paraphernellia with Young Bae face on it. Because of him, she has become VIP and still am. Because of him too, she had saved all her hard-earn pocket money to buy her first Big Bang concert ticket. And it is just natural for her to continue supporting Young Bae when he first launch his solo project. It was mostly his songs that she sang whenever she went to karaoke. Or just sing to her heart fill when she was all alone in her bedroom. And she never shy from admitting to the media of her 'fangirling' over her favourite male singer who staged name goes with 'Taeyang' or Sol which he is better known in Japan entertainment. When she was at her early stage of her career as fellow musician and entertainer, it is just like her to be very outspoken in expressing her admiration of someone she highly regards as her mentor. She was just 16 years old teenager when she first launched her first studio album and first introduced to the world of KPOP entertainment. Her act of 'fangirling' at that time, dubbed as part of normal act with most girls at her age. Well, Jieun never far to agree with that fact alone. She never regards Young Bae more than her favourite male artist and after becoming close friendships with Yoo Inna and Chaerin who introduced her to Young Bae, ultimately becoming just fellow friends to each other. Young Bae who by then she had called him 'oppa', is just friend to her. Well, through their friendship, it is a channel for her to know the man that turn her world upside down. He is Kwon Jiyong. The so-called KPOP Prince. He also known as the Bad boy of KPOP Entertainment. However, the real man behind his moniker 'G-Dragon', is way opposite with what the social media had painted him. Young Bae do know and so everything did know the fact that Jieun always smittenly in love and was caught 'fangirling' over Taeyang. But the one thing that no one know about the fact that Jieun had fallen hard in love at the first sight is with Kwon Jiyong. Jieun had refused to even share that revelation to anyone. Not even with her mother to whom she regards as her best buddy. She had kept and stored her feeling for Kwon Jiyong for three years exactly. No one knows about it. Only her fluttering heart and God knows this secret love of her. Like everyone else who wants to be with their lover, Jieun is no different from them. She will always keep an open window for any opportunity to stay any sort of distance with her dreamboat. Lucky for her, she has already a friend to both Yoo Inna and Chaerin. Not forgetting Young Bae and Lee Seunghyun who famously known as Seungri. She maintain their friendship within arms distance and always keep updated with their latest outcome. At early stage of her mission to stay closed friends with both Young Bae and Seungri, she did felt like a hunter, preying for her goal in the form of a person known as G-Dragon. And whenever she accepted either Young Bae or Seungri dinner invitation, somehow she did felt like a stranger amongst Big Bang closes allies. Even though, she did received a warm reception from Choi Seunghyun or better known as TOP. At those time, Kwon Jiyong still seem to be awkward if she is around. Jieun felt that he maintain a minimum comunication with her. Or like Seungri had told Jieun,

"...that was how he is. He is a shy person. Just don't mind him. Sooner or later, he will be the first to talk to you." 

And that only happen after 6 months after her well maintained friendship with Young Bae and Seungri. By then, Seunghyun oppa too had occassionally exchanged messages with Jieun. Kwon Jiyong finally could muster a normal conversation with Jieun and he has sent follow request in her personal Instagram account. Just like him, she maintained two different accounts in instagram. The one under 'public' account mode is meant for her Uaena and the 'private' account mode is solely for family and close friends. Jieun did accepted his follow request. And it took another a week later for Jiyong to send her a 'DM'. Jieun did not bother to use the DM function in instagram so instead she suggest that for them to chat at Kakao talk. They exchanged numerous of messages. Some was just a simple greeting message which still without denying it set her heart beat a little faster. Their friendship blossoming over the times. However there were times that the messages stop coming. That was during his dark days with his then girlfriend. That Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara. Jieun was sad obviously. But somehow her closed friendship with Jiyong makes her feel matured. Yes, she still wanted him for herself but she is not that selfish and desperately wanting Jiyong for herself. Well, she did met a few who literally the foot of G-Dragon just to spend a night or two with the man. Lucky for Jieun she did not stoop that low just to be with the man who still make her heart beat a lot faster. Also, she realised that Jiyong never make such shameless move on her. He is all about being a classy gentlemen whenever Jieun turn up to one of his many parties. Even though, they did flirt now and then but it was just a harmless flirting which will not benefitted to her.

Then something bad happen between Kiko and Jiyong. Jieun has been the first to know about their ugly break-up. And Jiyong has seek Jieun comfort in her modest apartment on that rainy night. Jieun had a morning show the next day when Jiyong had turn up at her apartment exactly the clock striker midnight. But no matter what, Jieun had keep him company as he got himself more drunk the next very minute. And when he finally passed out at her couch, Jieun called both Young Bae and Seunghyun to pick up their drunk leader. However, the two men was out of reached. She was left with no choice but to allow Jiyong to spend the night in her living room. The next morning, Jieun had to wait for an hour or so, the arrival of Jiyong manager to pick-up the drunk singer. Jiyong did left numerous of messages for Jieun. But Jieun was just too busy to check on Jiyong later on that day or even a week later. She only cross-path with him at MAMA awards in Hong Kong. And he seems to be very distance from Jieun. He avoid all forms of contact with her. And she was way too tired to be bothered with Jiyong sourgrape act. The truth was on that award show, she had plan to invite Jiyong for a duet in one of her performance, but seeing how the man had keep a distance from her, she disheartenly asked Yoo Inna to arrange for a duet with Song Mino instead. During the main show itself, Jiyong had avoid her like a plague. She remained civil with the rest of YG artistes and her friend Young Bae. However, when Young Bae had pull her to join him at the after event party, she had turn down the invitation with reason of feeling tired which was the truth. She did feel very tired and sad. Sad because of Jiyong distancing himself from her.

"Jieun sshi, are you ok? You seems to be out of focus tonight. I was told you had a fall..." Young Bae has always been very attentive of his friend. Not only to her but all of his friend. She always noticed this about him. And whoever will be his future girlfriend will be such a lucky person for having such caring man.

"I'm fine...just feeling a bit tired than normal. Maybe it is the time of the month, you know." Young Bae chuckled. Jieun could not be bothered for being too blunt to say that thing out loud, especially to a man who is not her boyfriend. She just wants to disappear from this arena. "Young Bae oppa...we talk soon ok." Jieun walk away without a glance back. If only did she turn once, she will definitely saw Jiyong who was standing behind the pillar wall. There was a sadness in his face. The same sadness that show on his face which was caught on camera when Jieun walking back to her seat after accepting the award for Best Female singer.

Jieun went straight to her hotel room. Locking the door and switching off her phone. In her mind, all she wanted to do was drown in tears. At that moment, she felt wasted. Did she expected too much of her friendship with Jiyong blossoming into what she wants it to be? Maybe she just felt tired. Her scheduled has been way too hectic lately. She did get the chance to return Jiyong insanely numerous missed calls. Jiyong. That name seem so vague to her at that moment. Where is her joyful Jiyong had gone? Why did he turns out to be an tonight? 

"Why did I even have feelings for that KWON JIYONG!?" 

A moment later, Jieun heard a faint knocking on the hotel door. She assumed that it might be her manager or Yoo Inna at the door. She open the door without bothering to look at the person who still standing at the door. Jieun just return to her double bed. She pulled the cover off the bed and covered it over her body. She did not even changed to the dress that made her fall during the award show. She heard the door was closed gently but failed to hear the voices of either her manager or Yoo Inna. Again, she just assumed it was either them in the room with her. So she blindly confessed her well kept secret that only God and her knows its content.

"I AM IN LOVE WITH JIYONG OPPA! BUT HE FRIGGING IGNORE ME. DAMN HIM!!"

Silent. 

Jieun took the silent for her to give a quick mind-clearing and breathing out as if she is flushing out toxic from her soul. Despite the awkwardness in the air outside these bedcover that still covering her whole self, she felt abundance of relief. She was about to uncover herself when she heard the voice that she least expected to hear.

"I am in love with Lee Jieun too. Well, she was too busy to return any of my calls...but I won't say 'damn her'. Instead I will say..."

Every things seem to stop and stood at standstill. However, Jieun cringe her eyes. She knows that she is done for when Jiyong deliberately did not finish his sentence. She really wished that the floor of this hotel could open up and swallow the whole of her. She remained in her position but a few minutes later, the bedsheet cover was slowly pull away from her hiding. She keeps her eyes remain on her knotted fingers. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw Jiyong carefully get on the bed right in front of her. She slowly lift up to look at the man who has the guts to smile at her shyly. At that moment, she swear that she wanted to knock him dead. 

"Jieun -ah..."

"W-what will-l you s-sa-y...then?" Jieun never stammered in her life before. She feel so embarassed if things turn out badly after this. 

"Well, I will say...will you be my girlfriend?" Jieun burst out in hearty laughter.

"Oppa...! My God that is so bloody corny!!" Jiyong take it as his que to pull Jieun in his arm which the laughing girl allows him to.  He tuck her in his arm and simply hugging her body as if to let go his 'missing' emotion to go along with it.

"So will you be my girlfriend?" Jieun pulls Jiyong away from her body and sit in front of her. 

"Am I your rebound girl?" Jieun had to ask this important question. She is for real and she meant to make Jiyong stay in her life like forever.

"No. I realised that I have been in love with the wrong girl when we were first met." Jiyong leaned down. Kiss her lip once and then twice but he hesitate to make it to the third time. He was waiting for Jieun response. She seems to freeze the moment his lip touch those cherry red lip of her.

"Well..."

Jieun nodded as she cast her eyes down to her knotted fingers. She smiled coyly. Jiyong then becomes more confiden when he continues to kiss the cherry red lip of his new girlfriend. She did respond to his invading lip but suddenly pulls away from him. Jiyong frowned.

"Oppa...just so you know, I am still !" Jiyong burst out laughing again. He deliberately laugh so hard that he slipped down from the bed and landed with his laughing face on the floor.

"What's so funny?!" Jieun had a good aim to kick Jiyong from where she was seating on the bed. It takes a while before the man stop his laughing. He crawled back on the bed and seated beside the blank face Jieun.

"I would love to consumate our relationship but I don't think it should be tonight." Jiyong tried to kiss her forehead but Jieun pulls back away from his reach.

"You are really a buzz-killer oppa..."
