Kai’s eyes glowed brilliantly as he observed Sehun and Irene in two separate panels; one was quiet and forlorn in his empty cell, whilst the other had been reduced to an empty husk of a being, drawing her last few breaths.

So, this is what love is capable of… such a foolish endeavour…

Despite expecting that the outcome of his Henchman’s misadventure to turn out this way, Kai was still feeling slightly disappointed as he was expecting much more. This, was likened to a game the Devil had set himself for a little entertainment after centuries of boredom. Except that, there can be no true winner as long as the person was under his manipulation and whilst there is love and emotions amongst humans. Humans are brittle, which was why I chose to be apart from them. Kai thought as he awaited the arrival of his guest. He smiled, she was finally gone from the world where weak mortals dwelled in and came to join him.  

“Will you, Irene, sign the deal with me?” Kai asked, his voice mellow and convincing.

“I will.” Irene said as she put her name on the long parchment.

“Of course, you will.” Kai grinned as the deal was sealed. “Welcome, to immortality, Irene.”
