Sunggyu and I walked back home in silence.

It's a long walk from our school to our apartment but, I didn't mind because it gave me a lot of time to think.

In no time we were back home and luckily my mom was at Sunggyu's house.

I knew she would freak out if she saw me so I ran to my apartment and immediately took a shower.

As I showered all I could think about was Na Eun.

I guess I deserved it since Na Eun called me an animal.

However, she was the one that went over board by throwing eggs at me.

*tsk tsk, typical drama queen* I thought as I stepped out the shower.

I was all clean and gathered up my yucky uniform.

It smelled of eggs and it was sticky.

I threw them in the wash and left a note for my mom to dry them.

I went over to Sunggyu's house and joined them and my mom for dinner.

"So, anything interesting happen at school today dear?" my mom asked

Sunggyu and I traded a silent message and his message was clear:

*Don't bring the egg situation up*

I nodded and proceeded to tell another story.

"I was chosen as the MC for this years Winter Show Case!"

I tried to put on my best fake smile and I guessed it worked because everyone applauded me.

"GOOD JOB I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" my mom said over dramatically.

Sunggyu's mother threw her arms around me and jokingly said "Aigoooo I wish my Sunggyu was as talented and smart as you. He only has good looks. That's it. Tsk tsk such a waste."

We all laughed and finished dinner.

I noticed that Sunggyu was quiet again.

After helping clean up, Sunggyu and I went into his room.

I took my usual place at his desk and he took his place on his bed.

"What's the problem this time?" I asked.

Sunggyu picked up a tennis ball and started throwing it in the air.

"I was wondering why you didn't tell me earlier. I mean, this is big news. I thought you would tell me right when you received the news, that's all."

I sighed "I DID try to tell you idiot. You were the one who wouldn't listen. All you could think about was your demon girlfriend."

I bit my lip *that was kind of harsh* I thought.

To my surprise Sunggyu laughed.

"She is a demon isn't she?" he said laughing again.

I was so shocked that he agreed with me.

"You really think so?" I said while spinning around in his fancy chair.

"Yeah, I might break up with her soon."

If I was drinking something, I would've spit it out right when I heard that.

"WHAT?! REALLY?! WHY?!" I tried to conceal my look of happiness and prayed I was doing a good job of it.

Luckily, Sunggyu wasn't looking at me and was too focused on the ball.

He just shrugged his shoulders and said "We constantly fight and argue about the littlest things. And she always wants me to take her out on dates or buy her gifts. She's just too high maintenance for me I guess."

It took all my will power not to jump up, dance, and high five him.

"You're hiding something." I said "There's another reason. What is it?"

He let out a long sigh and breathed in deeply,

"I know she did this too you MinA. I noticed it right away."

*Damn, he found out.*

I looked down, "How did you know?"

He shrugged again, "I just knew."

"Nothing goes by the amazing Kim Sunggyu huh?"

He smiled a bit, "No one ever messes with my best friend."

I felt a little pain in my chest when he said that.

*best friend* I'm starting to hate that title.

I stopped the frown that was forming on my face and smiled as wide as I could.

I punched Sunggyu in the arm and told him thank you.

As I sat back down he said "You never liked her did you?"

I laughed harder than I thought.

"You have nooooo idea." I said.

We talked so much that I lost track of time and had to go home.

As I headed out of his room Sunggyu said that he was going to break up with Na Eun tomorrow morning before homeroom.

I wished him good luck and headed back to my apartment

When I got in my room I started dancing SNSD's The Boys.

*this day isn't so bad after all.* I thought smiling to myself.
