Have you ever thought of running away from whatever that is bothering you? Have you? Well, I have. Numerous times have I tried to run away from everything. Countless times I tried to break free from all the nuisance in my life. But in the end, nothing ever worked. So I run. I run as fast as I could to the woods. It has become a daily routine of mine, to travel down this woods and put on my running shoes to run. At the very least, this simple exercise can keep my thoughts away from all the problems in this world.

It’s the same for today too. I woke up at 6 a.m., washed my face, brushed my teeth and changed to my shorts and tanks. The woods is only a few metres away from my home as I live in the rural area. I jogged around the usual track I use to run and something caught my eye. Just a few feet away, in front of me, I saw a man lying down on the ground. I thought that he’s just a drunkard but come to think of it, why would a drunk person roam around the woods? I gather up my courage and approached him.

As I get nearer I can see that this guy is wearing a shirt and jeans but he had no shoes on. He’s facing the opposite side of the track so I can’t see his face. By the looks of it, he seems to have been lying here since last night. I crouch near him and see a pool of silver liquid on the ground.
