"Uncle!" Jessica hissed at her uncle who's devouring the steak in front of him "The event is tonight; does it ring a bell?!"
"Chill there my lovely niece" He smirked, taking a sip of his wine "As if I have a word against your dad. And one more thing, there's nothing to worry about. We're dressed, so we only needed to be there"
"Oh great, how is Jessica Jung, a penniless, is able to buy this thousand-dollar gown?! Are you trying to bust my cover?"
"Manners please" Her dad turned to her to whisper that

"And what are those?" She challenged
"1st, You can rip that gown and turn it to a dress. 2nd, Attend the event while wearing that without complaints. And 3rd, Do not attend the party. Easy as pie"
"Kate Middleton gave this to me. It's a limited edition. How dare you tell me to rip it apart!" She gritted her teeth and her dad turned to her again
"A few more minutes wouldn't kill you, right? It'd be nice to take off your frown and stop arguing with your uncle. I promise to send you to your school event in a jiffy"
