CHAPTER 51: Unexpectedly

Minhyun giggled by himself after writing that reply. He imagined how Hanna would react reading that cheesy words. Minhyun even surprised at himself how he could write it.

He waited Hanna’s reply but even after quite times, Hanna didn't send any reply. Minhyun guessed that Hanna may have some kind of mental breakdown right now. He giggled again at that possibility.

Wanting to know what agenda Hanna would have tomorrow, Minhyun texted Minki asking whether he had agenda with Hanna. As Minki said he didn't have any agenda with Hanna, Minhyun sent another text to Namjoo. But she also said she didn't have any agenda with Hanna.

Then with whom she will go tomorrow? Minhyun asked in his mind.

Is it with her family?

Ah, I will just go to her house tomorrow morning..

Kwak Residence in the morning.

Mr and Mrs. Kwak have prepared to go to Andong. Before leaving, Mrs. Kwak knelt in front of Grace and told Grace to have fun going to the zoo with Hanna and Aaron. Mr. Kwak gave Hanna some money to be spent with Grace at zoo, and some bonus for Hanna as a reward for taking care of her little sister.

"Eey, I want to do it because I'm her unnie, dad.” Hanna told her father. But as her father wanted to take back the money, Hanna held his hand and took the money. “But if you give me bonus I won't refuse.." She ended with a cute grin and it made her father chuckle.

"Geez, you're really.."

"Okay, then.. bye.." Mr and Mrs. Kwak bade goodbye to Grace and Hanna as they went inside the car.

Hanna and Grace waved their hands at their parents. And once their parents were out of sight, they went back to the house. Hanna initially wanted to wake Aaron up, but she found that Aaron looked so tired. He was sleeping with his right arm covering his face. Hanna closed the door of his room again, and decided to take a shower instead.

"Grace, you have showered, don't you?" Asked Hanna to Grace who's watching cartoons at the moment.

"Yeah, unnie.." Grace answered shortly.

"You have breakfast too, right? So unnie will take a shower for a moment. Don't go anywhere.."

"Uh-uh.."

Hanna showered while singing as usual. But while singing she couldn't help but to think what would happen if today she didn't have any agenda and go out with Minhyun instead. Where will he take me?

Hanna naturally smiled imagining she go out with Minhyun, just the two of them.

Ah, Kwak Hanna, stop expecting! Today you're going to take care Grace!

As Hanna went out the bathroom, she was surprised to see Grace sitting next to the door.

"Oh! Why are you sitting here, Grace?"

Grace looked sad while answering her question. "Oppa left.."

"Huh?? Aaron Oppa??" Surprised by that news, Hanna directly went to Aaron's room. And it was true that he already left.. "Woah really, Kwak Aaron. How could he trick me??" Hanna turned to Grace who followed her, "Wait Grace, I'll call him."

Hanna walked to her room and took her phone to call Aaron, but then she found his message instead.

Sorry I can't accompany you and Grace to the zoo.

Hanna was ready to send curses to Aaron, but his next words took all of her attention.

I've asked Minhyun to replace me.

WHY'D YOU ASK MINHYUN, YOU FOOL??

Hanna was suddenly panic. She never imagined that today she will really meet Minhyun.

I'll try to change that destiny. We're going to meet. Minhyun's message was flashing in Hanna's mind.

Are we really destined to meet? Gosh! I haven't prepared.

Hanna directly threw out everything in her wardrobe, looking for a good outfit to wear.

Grace who just went inside Hanna’s room, asking, “Unnie, we will still go to the zoo even without Aaron oppa, right?”

“Of course! We will. We have to!” answered Hanna excitedly. Then she asked Grace, "Grace, which one do you think the prettiest?"

Grace walked closer and then chose a flower printed dress.

"This one? Okay, I'll try."

As Hanna wore it, she stood in front of the mirror and looked at her reflection. “Nice.”. She commented herself.

Then she started styling her hair. "Grace, how should I style my hair? Ponytail? Braided-half? Or just let it loose? Wavy or straight?"

Didn't get any response from Grace, Hanna turned around and found that Grace giving her a confused look. That made Hanna realize. "Ah! What did I just do?? Why should I give effort for just going with Minhyun?? Like, he will care over what I wear?? You're going to the zoo, Hanna. Not going to a date!!"

With that, Hanna hurry changed her outfit. She chose a 7/8 blue jeans and pink sporty T-shirt. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and said, "Yes, just this casual. You're just going to go with a friend. With a friend."

Just few minutes after Hanna saying that, there was a sound from the front door. And soon it was followed with Minhyun calling out her name. "Hanna yaaa.."

Listened to Minhyun calling her, Hanna checked on her makeup and smiled. She took her sling bag and went out her room with Grace.

But as they went out, they got surprised over seeing someone who stood in front of them.

Hanna couldn't help but laugh to see Minhyun looking very neat with his red long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. "Minhyun ah, we're going to the zoo, not to---" Hanna couldn't finish her words as she suddenly remembered what she wanted to wear earlier.

Minhyun looked surprised to hear Hanna's comment. "Is.. is it too much?"

Hanna walked closer as she held her laugh and said, "It's okay.. You may look as my uncle.."

“Hish. Just wait for a moment. I'll change my outfit."

With that, Minhyun ran out the house, leaving Hanna laughing. "Why'd he has to be so cute??"

Grace could only roll her eyes to see Minhyun and Hanna’s interaction.

After waiting for a few minutes, Minhyun came back with his new outfit. Grey-pink T-shirt with blue jeans that matched Hanna's.

Seeing that, Hanna protested, "Yaa! Why'd you change into this?"

"Why?? Am I making a mistake again?" Minhyun asked in confuse.

"Yours is too similar with mine.."

Minhyun smiled. "That's my intention."

"What??"

"So we will look like a ----" Minhyun couldn't finish his words.

But that was enough to make Hanna understand what he means. Hanna directly took Grace's hand and asked her to follow. "Let's go, Grace. Just leave him."

"Yaa! Wait for me!"

Hanna, Minhyun, and Grace went to the zoo with bus. They sat on the back seat. As Grace chose to sit next to the window, Hanna sat between Grace and Minhyun.

"See, we’re really destined to meet." Minhyun started a conversation.

Somehow only with that words could heat Hanna's body. She tried to act normal by saying, "It's just happened because Aaron Oppa ask a help from you."

"Yeah. That's it. Among other people, Aaron hyung chose to ask a help from me." Said Minhyun proudly.

That short words made Hanna realize, Oh? Yes, that's true. Why should he ask a help from Minhyun? I can understand Oppa didn't ask Jonghyun because he'll have to work at restaurant at noon and Dongho might be practicing Kendo at school. But why not Minki?

"That's what it called a destiny." Minhyun told Hanna.

Hanna directly threw a smirk at Minhyun. But it successfully made her heart beat faster.

I may already sit next to Minhyun thousands time, but why do I feel nervous now? Hanna felt somewhat tingling as Minhyun's thigh brushed hers as the bus moving. Hanna was naturally fanning herself with the sudden heat she felt.

As they reached the zoo, Hanna directly went to the ticket counter, while Minhyun was waiting with Grace.

"Two adults, 1 child, please.." Hanna told the ticketing staff.

"Are you a high schooler?" The staff asked Hanna.

"Yes."

"Then there will be a discount if you show your student card."

"Oh, really? Then wait.." Hanna took out her student card and then called Minhyun. "Minhyun ah, give me your student card."

"Uhm?" Minhyun walked together with Grace, approaching Hanna. "Why'd you need my student card?"

"We'll get discounts." Hanna answered as she took Minhyun's student card and gave it to the staff. "Here.."

As the staff processing the tickets, Grace whined to see it. "Minhyun Oppa, I want to see it.."

"Do you want to see it? Okay.." with that, Minhyun held Grace up so she could see how she get the tickets.

Seeing Grace, the staff greeted her, "Hello sweetheart.." Then she moved to ask Hanna, "Is she your little sister?"

Hanna nodded. "Yes.."

"Ah it's really cute to have a date while bringing your sister along." The staff commented and it surprised both Hanna and Minhyun.

"Date?" "Date??"

"No.. it's.. it's not a date." Hanna replied fast.

"Hey, don't deny. You all even wear matched outfits." That staff added.

And it made them realizing that Grace also wore a pink dress. Hanna could only respond it with a forced laugh, while Minhyun was all smiley.

"Here are your student cards and here are your tickets.” Said the ticketing staff to Hanna. She didn’t forget to add, “Have a fun date."

"We're not...... Ah, whatever." Hanna bowed and walked faster.

Meanwhile Minhyun was laughing at the back. "Can you see it Grace, your unnie is embarrassed.."

Grace could only let out a tsk.

The three of them then walked around the zoo. Grace took out the list of animals she wanted to see.

With that Minhyun commented, "Wow, did you prepare this list, Grace?"

Grace nodded as she showed the list. "Yes, if I have seen the animal then I will put a check mark next to it."

Minhyun rewarded Grace two thumbs up.

He then teased Hanna. "Woah, Grace is a good planner.  Her older sister can't relate."

Hanna naturally smirked.

"But really, did you even prepare to go to zoo? I mean, you should bring a hat for Grace, a bottle of water if Grace suddenly thirsty, oh don’t forget about the snacks.”

Hanna smirked at Minhyun while listening to all of his nagging. “Why should I bring water and snack, we can buy it here..” She argued.

Minhyun chuckled. “Hanna, we’re going to walk for quite long times. If Grace suddenly feel thirsty, then should we walk back to the food court just to buy her drink? Tsk, you should have thought of it.”

“I’ll walk back. You just wait.” Hanna replied in annoyed.

Minhyun continued to tease, “Oh, you should also bring insect repellant!”
