The latest brand of Christmas goods in stores and mall already seems to be out of stocks as people rushing up to prepare for the Eve in the next couple of weeks. Everyone were exited and can’t wait for the day to come.
But it’s not the same for a certain 21 years old Kim Ryeowook.
No boyfriend and lives alone. And because the fact that he’s single, he were chosen to work a night shift on the Christmas Eve.
Christmas has no meaning for him. In fact, he even wished that it’s better if Christmas never comes around.
He maintained a strained smile as he handed back the change to the two customers who bought a pack of cigarette and four cans of beers. Based on how these customers exchanged a sly look, Ryeowook knows that they’re off to no good.
One of them take the change and then rest his arm on the counter, leaning forward to Ryeowook. “Hey cutie, is this your donation box?” He smirk and pointed at the said small box just beside the cashier machine.
Ryeowook keeps his smile and nodded his head. “Yes sir, it’s belong to this store. We put it there to help an orphan’s house in this neighbourhood. They need an additional fund to build a new residence hall for the kids.” He explained politely.
“Hahaha! Just look how little you’ve collected so far. But don’t worry, because I’m in a good mood, so I’m feeling like doing some charity tonight.” The man said.
