The next day, the class was quiet as Saerin walked in to her seat. Jinyoung was seated already on the seat next to her, fiddling with his hands in his lap.

Not knowing what to say, she just slid into the seat silently, blending in with the rest of the silence of the class.

She began busying herself with her own work, until she saw from the corner of her eye a neat piece of folded paper being pushed into her visual field towards her arm.

She turned curiously towards Jinyoung, but he was staring determinedly at his lap.

Saerin took the folded paper and unfolded it, not quite knowing what to expect.

Saerin-ssi, mianhae. I can't apologise enough for yesterday... sorry from the bottom of my heart. Please let me know how I can make it up to you.

Saerin stared at the formal words in the neat, pretty lettering and read it over and over again then she began giggling to herself and she saw Jinyoung tilt his head towards her. She glanced towards him, grinning and he snapped his head back hurriedly to his lap, but his eyes were frozen and his hands glued to each other on his lap as if he was petrified.

"First of all,"

Saerin tapped him lightly on his shoulder with the note and Jinyoung positively jumped, his eyes bulging wide and she had to hold back her laughter. He was incredibly shy!

"Am I that ugly?"

Jin Young's head snapped towards her so fast she thought it would break off from his neck. "W-what!!! Ani!" He spluttered, his face wrinkled in confusion.

"Then why can't you look at me?" Saerin asked, bemused, finally making eye contact with him for the first time and she felt her cheeks flush.

Oh boy, this boy.... he was rather cute.... wait, what!? She immediately shook those thoughts away from her mind. Jinyoung stared at her for a whole second, his mouth in an innocent "o" before tearing his eyes away and shaking his head. His head was perpetually down! Doesn't his neck hurt from always staring downwards?

"You said you want to make it up to me, right?"

Jinyoung's ears were pink. "N-ne." He mumbled under his breath.

"So firs
