Taeyeon is planning a simple yet romantic dinner date for Jessica but she is nervous as hell to ask her to go on a date with her even though she knows Jessica will say yes. She has been planning for a few days now. She decided to have dinner at her apartment instead of a restaurant and watch movies afterward’s. She has already prepared Jessica’s favorite food for her and made the setting little romantic with candles and flowers. Right now she is standing in front of a flower shop to buy flowers for Jessica as she is going to meet her at her office.

“How may I help you, young miss?” Shop keeper asks her as she is looking at flowers. Taeyeon looks at him and sighs. She wants to give Jessica a bouquet of flowers but as she is going to her office she can’t do that as they want to keep their relationship a secret.

“Can you give me a couple of roses with a ribbon around them?” Taeyeon asks politely. The shop keeper nods and goes back into the shop. After a minute or two, he comes back and gives the flowers to Taeyeon. She pays and goes to Jessica’s office.

Jessica is working when someone knocks at her office door

“Come in,” She says without looking up from the documents she is reading

“Miss Jung there is someone who wants to meet you?” Her secretary asks

“Who is it?” Jessica asks without looking at her

“I don’t know ma’am she won’t tell me her name but she says you know her. Should I send her in?” She says as Jessica looks at her with a frown but nods her head thinking it might be one of her friends. She goes and tells the person to go in. Jessica hears a knock a few minutes later. She asks the person to come in while she is still reading her documents other person sees this and quietly goes to her she brings her lips to Jessica’s ear

“GUESS WHO?” Other person says loudly in her ear startling Jessica. She screams while the other person puts her hands on her ears and then quickly puts one of her hand on Jessica’s mouth. “Geez Sica it’s me calm down” making Jessica look at her she removes her hand and gets hit by Jessica

“Taeyeon,” Jessica says and hits her shoulder again “Can’t you say hi like normal people. You scared the hell out of me” Jessica says making Taeyeon laugh

“You looked so serious so I thought of scaring you a little,” Taeyeon says while looking at her with a smile on her face. Jessica rolls her eyes and hits her arm

“Seriously y---” Jessica stops when Taeyeon puts one of her hand on Jessica’s cheek and other on her waist while looking at her lovingly making Jessica’s heart beat faster

“I missed you,” Taeyeon says after a while making Jessica smile as she puts her hands on her waist and pouts

“Is that why you came to see me after so many days?” Jessica asks with a pout making Taeyeon chuckle. She kisses her on her cheek

“Well princess both of us were busy with work and I didn’t contact you because it would have made me miss you more so I completed my work and here I am,” Taeyeon says as she caresses Jessica’s cheek with her thumb 

“And why are you here?” Jessica asked her with a smile

“Because I wanted to see my soon-to-be-girlfriend,” Taeyeon said with a wide grin making Jessica chuckle. Jessica pinches her cheeks making her pout. Jessica chuckles a little and pats her cheeks

“I missed you too,” Jessica says and buries her head inside the crook of Taeyeon’s neck making Taeyeon smile wider if that’s even possible. Taeyeon caressed her hair lovingly before she remembered something

“O I forget,” Taeyeon says and moves back breaking the hug. She smiles and takes out the flower from inside of her blazer. “Here for you princess” Jessica smiles and takes the flowers from her hand “Uhm I… I was thinking no I mea…n if you are free after work?” Taeyeon stutters making Jessica raise her eyebrows.

“Why?” Jessica asks while biting her lip to stop herself from smiling. She loves when Taeyeon gets all nervous in front of her so she decides to a little.

“Well, I was thinking… no, I was hoping if you would l…like to go on a dinner date…” Taeyeon sees Jessica frown so she quickly adds “I mean on a dinner with me yeah simple dinner” Taeyeon says but Jessica doesn’t say anything making her panic. She swears she is starting to sweat by now. She gulps when she doesn’t get an answer “Well I …if you don’t want t---”

“Of course I will go on date with you Taengoo,” Jessica says with a smile “Seriously why are you this nervous? It’s not like you are asking me out for the first time.” Taeyeon sighs in relief

“It’s been a long time so…” Taeyeon says as she rubs the back of her neck. Jessica holds her other hand in her own

“Did you think I will not go with you?” Jessica asks as she looks in her eyes. She sighs when she sees Taeyeon avoiding her eyes “Taeyeon-ah” She calls but Taeyeon doesn’t look at her “Hey look at me” She says as she holds Taeyeon’s face rubbing her thumbs gently to each of Taeyeon’s cheek making her look at her “What’s wrong?” She asks her in a low yet gentle voice

“I… I’m just thinking I mean you gave me a chance after everything that happened… I just don’t want to mess it up… I don’t want to screw everything this time.” Taeyeon says as her eyes glint with tears she blinks her tears away “I’m just afraid I… I won’t be---” Taeyeon couldn’t finish her sentence as Jessica puts her finger on her lips. Jessica looks at her with a smile

“Taeyeon-ah let’s forget about the past and live in the present.” Jessica says as she holds Taeyeon’s hand and kisses on the back of her hand “I gave
