An hour before my shifts ends for the evening; I do my evening rounds before making my last stop to my favorite patient who is YoungJae's nephew Adrian Yoo. After making my way towards Adrian's room I feel myself being pulled to the break room, before I could react I turned to see who was the suspect that pulled me in. Of course it was my 2 loving but crazy best friends and they had that look on there face ready to interrogate me about my earlier incident at the rooftop. I see Rachel with this look of question and suspicion along with Alex who also had that same look. I had a smile on my face thinking about what just happened 2 hours ago. Before Rachel snapped me back to reality.

 

Rachel: Hello? SeulTae are you going to explain to us why you have that goofy smile on your face

 

I look at both my two best friends. They have been there during that time YoungJae broke my heart we have been friends since high school and now; so they really have my back no matter what and Sang Eun looks to them as there older sisters as well because they were the ones that took care of her while I went to school in the States. 

 

SeulTae: Fine I'll tell you both.............BUT! promise me you will only keep this between us

Alex: of course bestie when have we ever let you down

SeulTae: *smiles* your right *inhales and exhales*

 

So I told them everything from meeting Youngwon oppa and his wife because Adrian Yoo is there son and YoungJae's nephew, to the encounter at the rooftop which lead to both me and YoungJae being reunited and officially together. I look at both of them and they had this shocked yet happy look on there faces.

 

Rachel: O.M.G *hugs SeulTae along with Alex* we are so happy for you bestie that you and YoungJae are back together. I never doubted that YoungJae never stopped loving you.

SeulTae: *smiles* thank for being the best of friends for life.

Alex: just so you know........when he hurts you again we got your back bestie

Rachel: that's right bestie we've been through your hard times and we came out strong together.

 

After what felt like 30 mins of celebrating and crying we all went out the break room. Rachel and Alex heads to the women's locker room to get themselves ready to leave for the evening. As for me I make my final visit to my favorite patient with a big smile on my face. I was outside Adrian's room and I can hear Youngwon oppa and Cindy unnie along with YoungJae entertaining Adrian.

As I made my way in I can see YoungJae reading a story to Adrian and I couldn't help but admire him. He was always so good with kids and I knew that he would make a great father someday.

 

SeulTae: Hello *smiles* I came in to check on my favorite patient before going home.

 

I was greeted by Youngwon oppa and Cindy unnie before making my way to Adrian. While I was doing my routinely check on Adrian I can feel YoungJae staring at me and I heard him whisper to Adrian

 

YoungJae: you got the best nurse taking care of you my little nephew not only is she the best, but she's very beautiful and loving in every way.

 

I felt my heart jump and looked at YoungJae giving me a wink and I couldn't help but blush. 

 

Youngwon: SeulTae-sshi I'm so glad that you and my younger brother are together again

Cindy: me too and just remember SeulTae that whatever circumstances you both face........love each other even more and support each other.

 

After doing my final check on Adrian I went to YoungJae's side and held his hand and I look at him.

 

YoungJae: I won't let her go......no matter what and will love her........forever.

 

As he says  that he looks me in my eyes which already were in tears, so all I can do is nod in response for I was speechless in what YoungJae just said.

 

SeulTae: I'll be right back, I'll just go clock out and gather my things.

 

I gave YoungJae a kiss on the cheek and made my way out. 

 

As I was heading out with Alex and Rachel I made my way out to the lobby were I see YoungJae waiting for me.

 

Alex: *whispers to SeulTae* there goes your prince charming bestie

Rachel: *goes up to YoungJae* Annyeong *waves* 

YoungJae: Hi Rachel nice seeing you and Alex again since high school days.

Alex: Hey YoungJae *smiles* 

 

As the girls approach I move next to YoungJae and kiss him on the cheek.

 

Alex: Anyway, me and Rachel are going to take a nice shower and sleep

Rachel: Yaaas! it's been a long day for us *looks at SeulTae*

SeulTae: *blushes* bye girls I'll see you the day after tomorrow

Rachel: riiighht you have a long overdue date with prince charming here

Alex: enjoy yourselves kids and YoungJae *looks at him intently*

YoungJae: y-yes?

Alex: don't hurt SeulTae again.....or else me and Rachel will come after you.

YoungJae: yes ma'am

 

Both me and YoungJae say goodbye to Alex and Rachel as they made there way to the parking lot. 

 

YoungJae: *pecks SeulTae on the lips* how was your day today princess?

SeulTae: busy........but I'm so glad that Adrian was my last patient so that I can see you *smiles shyly* so my day ended very well and it's my day off tomorrow so I can get ready early for our long overdue date.

YoungJae: Yes and I'm very excited actually; it's all a surprise.

SeulTae: oooo I can't wait *looks at him with excited eyes* and you have to forgive Alex, she's been the mom out of the three of us. She was the one that took care of me when we........."broke up"

YoungJae: *links hands with SeulTae* I'm so glad she did and this whole date tomorrow will be so worth it.

As me and YoungJae started walking out of the hospital entrance Sang Eun was already waiting for me.

I kiss YoungJae on the cheek and giggled a bit while he also kisses me on the cheek as I wave goodbye to him before getting in the car.

 

When I got in the car I see SangEun looking at me and raised her eyebrow at me

SangEun: “Youngjae?”

 

I blushed in response.

 

Sang Eun: So what happened?

She asked me, so I spilled everything that happened after we hung up the phone.

 

SangEun: Ah; she says and pauses before continuing,

SangEun: Well if he hurts you I hurt him. Then she took a quick glance at me and says,

SangEun: Let him know that.

SeulTae: I will;

I said while giggling at how protective my dongsaeng is

 

I was too excited thinking about the date with YoungJae he really knows how much I love surprises. I was so busy with my thoughts that I didn't notice SangEun still talking to me.

 

SangEun: Soooooo.

SeulTae: Hmmm? 

SangEun: Remember when I said you would tell me if I did something stupid or crazy.

SeulTae: Yeah?

 

I see her biting her lip before she continued. 

Sang Eun: Well I think I did.” she pauses for a bit and continues. “Something stupid.”

 

I was texting YoungJae telling him I'll video call him when I get home and afterwards I looked up at SangEun.

SeulTae: Define.....stupid.

 

SangEun: Umm potentially could be really dangerous.

SeulTae: Please explain before I say something.

Sang Eun: I got stood up and criticized by Eunmi’s boyfriend. I walked around and went to Han River well Eunmi gave the dude my number.

 

SangEun: Look at my texts on my phone.

I see her grab her cell phone and handed it to me.

SangEun: You will be able to tell who it is."

 

I took the phone from her hand and went to the text messages. As I was reading the text messages, I can tell just by reading the interaction between her and this mysterious guy. He seemed genuine in how bad he felt for standing up my sister.

 

Sang Eun: Soooooo

SeulTae: He seems nice little Sis. As I put her phone down in the cup holder.

SeulTae: And at least he apologized.

SangEun: I know. I just.. It’s not totally crazy right? Like I’m not making a huge mistake am I?

 

I can see that my sister is really wanting to take a chance on this mysterious guy, but is afraid because of how my relationship turned out with YoungJae when she was still young.

 

SeulTae: You should really give him a chance Sis.” I paused for a bit. “What are you afraid of?”

 

As I said this with a smile knowing that this guy will like her for who she is and love her very much.

 

SeulTae: Just give him a chance Sis. He really seems like the guy that would appreciate you just the way you are.”

SangEun: I know I’m just hoping I’m not being stupid.

 

This is my little sisters first relationship and I understand where she is coming from. YoungJae is my first love and what he did to me 5 years ago was unthinkable so Sang Eun is having these thoughts because she saw how devastated I was when YoungJae broke up with me and she doesn't want to experience the pain. I was deep in thought not knowing that we have arrived home. When both me and Sang Eun walked in the house she went straight to her bedroom. Me and my mom knew that there was something wrong as I was staring at the stairs I felt my dad put a hand on my shoulder. 

 

Dad: She’ll be fine dear. It will all turn out okay. I can feel it.

 

My mom gave my dad a look.

 

Mom: says the person who told her I guess you can go.

Seul Tae: Mom, Dad’s right. I have a good feeling to that it will work out. 

 

I chimed in as I walked upstairs. As I made my way to my bedroom I get a text from YoungJae.

 

(A/N: this is there nicknames for each other)

 

My Prince ❤️: hello my love did you and Sang Eun make it home ok?

My Princess ❤️❤️: yes I did my love and I'm about to freshen up.

 

*My Prince ❤️ video calling*

*My Princess ❤️❤️  answers video call*

 

(video call)

My Prince: *waves happily* HI!!!! My angel

My Princess: *giggles* *shyly* hi my love did you get home ok?

My Prince: yes I did, I stayed with Adrian until hyung came so I just now got home and my members are now asleep...........soooo we can talk until we sleep like always.

My Princess: I would remember mom would check up on me and see me sleeping with phone next to me, but the difference is now we can see our faces *laughs*

My Prince: yeah *stares at me through the video* I did mean what I said earlier

My Princess: *stares at him while laying in bed* about what?

 

I said to him as I looked at him straight in his eyes.

My Prince: that no matter what happens between us no matter how hard it gets due to my busy schedule............I won't let you go and will get through this together.

 

As he said those words, even if its just through video call I can feel the sincerity and the love that he has for me. It was just overflowing and I stared at him for a good minute before I said.

My Princess: *smiles* I know you meant every word my love and I also promise no matter how hard it gets I won't give up on us.

My Prince: that's my princess *does flying kiss through camera* 

My Princess: *kisses through camera*

 

YoungJae stayed with me through out my bedtime routine until I was in bed and we were still talking.

 

My Princess: I'm excited for our date tomorrow =D

My Prince: I am too and it's a surprise and I know how much you love surprises

My Princess: yes!! I looove surprises *claps* so I'm off tomorrow so I have time to help my parents out around the house before getting ready for our dinner date

My Prince: perfect my love so I will pick you up at your place; I hope you parents aren't upset still about the break up

My Princess: their not anymore.......promise; especially my dad *chuckles* they'll be both happy to see you *yawns*

My Prince: I'll let you sleep now my princess and for our dress attire just classic yet elegant.

My Princess: *smiles through sleepy eyes* arasso my prince goodnight and saranghae

My Prince: saranghae my princess *flying kiss with a wink* 

My Princess: *giggles and hangs up*

 

As I lay my head to sleep with a smile on my face I wonder what awaits in our surprise date.

 

{Next Morning}

I wake up to a text from YoungJae

 

My Prince: good morning my beautiful princess I can't wait to see you tonight *send lots of kiss face emoji* saranghae 

I couldn't help but laugh at how cute my boyfriend.

My Princess: good morning my prince have a wonderful day today and don't work too hard. Fighting!! *sends a few kiss face emoji*

 

After doing my morning routine and my way downstairs I can already hear my parents settling down with Sang Eun and talking about her date tonight and how nervous she is. I hear my dad giving her some encouragement so that her nervousness would calm down. I come down the stairs but before I entered the kitchen I hear my dad say to Sang Eun:

Dad: Any guy would be stupid not to at least get to know you. And normally blind dates don’t try to make contact to make it up.

And I see him put his hand over Sang Eun's

Dad: It’s okay to be afraid, but don’t be afraid to try. You’re not stupid Sang Eun for agreeing. Besides I have a good feeling about it. It’s going to be fine.

 

I smiled entering the kitchen and sitting next to Sang Eun saying:

SeulTae: I have a good feeling about it too Sis.

 

While smiling at her.

 

Mom: I hope so. My mom says as she puts breakfast on the table.

Mom: Alright. Let's eat! as mom sits next to dad and joins us for breakfast.

Few minutes into having breakfast I smile to myself excited for tonight's date with YoungJae.

Mom: I know that smile SeulTae, me and your Dad are excited for you. We knew deep down that YoungJae still loved you very much and was very heartbroken when you left for America.

Dad: I agree with your Mom my dear daughter; YoungJae is a great guy.

 

And he looks at me. My dad is very protective when it comes to his two princesses of his life so I know that look.

Dad: He cherishes you and your heart very much and I know now that he will protect it no matter what happens in your relationship in the future.

I couldn't help but get up and give them a big hug. They have been there through my craziness and my first heartbreak and I really cherish them very much.

After breakfast I helped my mom cleaned up around the house while Sang Eun helps Dad out with his chores for the day; that's how our morning and afternoon went.

Evening

Both me and Sang Eun just finished a very refreshing shower before our dates tonight. As I was coming in to freshen up I see my little sister getting ready for her date as well.

Seul Tae: You look great Sis. You especially look like yourself.

Sang Eun: Sis he did say to be yourself right?

She nodded her head and I went up to her and gave her a hug from behind and smiled at her through the mirror.

Seul Tae: Then it will be okay. You look like yourself and I’m sure you will act like yourself.

I turned her around to give her a good look and some sisterly advice.

Seul Tae: Besides he’s the one that said to be yourself. If he don’t like it, then he can go jump off a cliff.

 

And gave her a big hug for courage.

 

SeulTae: Now get out of the bathroom, so I can get ready.

 

Me and SangEun gets ready together, while not knowing what's going on downstairs.

*doorbell rings*

Dad: I'll get it.

As my Dad opens the door he sees YoungJae very well dressed with a bouquet of flowers.

YoungJae: Annyeonghaseyo Mr. Lee *bows*

Dad: Hello son *smiles* please come in SeulTae is still getting ready.

YoungJae goes in and sits down on the couch, while Dad sits across from him.

Dad: Promise me this son *looks at YoungJae with sincerity in his eyes* Please don't break my daughter's heart again.

Dad pauses and remembers what happened 4 years ago and chokes up a bit.

YoungJae: I love SeulTae more than ever now. I'll protect her with all my heart; no matter what. *looks at Dad with so much determination and confidence in his eyes*

Dad: That's all I'm asking son.

SeulTae *yells from upstairs*: I'm ready *walking down the stairs*

I can feel all eyes on me, but most of all the eyes of my prince. This is the first I've ever dressed this good. I never had the time to go on dates while studying in the US. I did have some admirers, but none of them where YoungJae.

YoungJae: Your beautiful princess. *Holds my hand and spins me around* these are for you *hands me a bouquet*

SeulTae: You don't look so bad yourself my prince. *kisses his cheek* shall we get going?

YoungJae: *looks at both Mr. and Mrs. Lee* it was nice seeing you again Mr and Mrs Lee.

Mom: Please just call me Mom *giggles*

Dad: And call me Dad; your already like a son to me.

Both me and YoungJae smiled at how cute my parents are.

Mom: We won't wait up; go enjoy yourselves.

I can see Dad agreeing with Mom while both are taking pictures of us and saying how were both perfect for each other.

As we got in YoungJae's car which was really cool by the way and headed to where our surprise date will be I stare out the window. I feel YoungJae linked hands with me and kissed it all the while glancing  at the side profile of YoungJae and taking in every part of him.

YoungJae: You surprised me with your gorgeous outfit today princess.

SeulTae: This! Rachel and Alex helped me picked it they said it suits me so well.

YoungJae: And there right and more *kisses my hand again* I hope you will like our surprise date princess

SeulTae: I'm actually excited *big smile*

YoungJae: I really missed that smile

I smile back at him as we make our way to our destination.

YoungJae: were here

OMG! This is the place where he first asked me to be his girlfriend. Han River is such a beautiful place especially at night. As we park near the pier YoungJae makes his way to where I am, opens the door for me.

SeulTae: thank you my prince. I stepped out of the car and see how beautiful the river is at night.

YoungJae leads me down the pier and with big eyes I see this yacht.

It looked like he really went all out for this because this is the most coolest thing ever. As he continues to lead me down the pier and helps me on our private yacht, I see this beautiful set up inside:

As I was busy admiring everything I feel YoungJae hug me from behind.

 

YoungJae: *whispers in my ear* Surprise princess.

SeulTae: This is so beautiful *turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck and kisses him* it's only the beginning and I'm already loving it.

 

YoungJae then leads me to another area of the yacht where there is a table set up for two:

The prince that he is YoungJae pulls the chair out for me to sit and him going to the other side. I see three people on this boat I'm guessing one is the driver and the other two are the waiters. I can see the boat moving while being served our dinner.

 

After eating dinner we both decided to chill at the upper deck of the boat and catch up on the 4 years we missed.

As I admired the night view of Han River I feel YoungJae wrap his arms around me.

 

YoungJae: We have the whole night to catch up on.

SeulTae: *still looking out into the night and smiles* I like that, we can start with your training days.

 

I feel YoungJae turn me around in his arms while I put my arms around his neck and look him in his eyes. He tells me how hard it was for him because this was right after we “broke up” due to the no dating for 3 years; so with all the emotions he had pent up inside he used it to even be a better artist.

 

YoungJae: so when our 3 year training ended I was with six guys that are like my brothers now. And when I called you I wasn’t able to reach you.

 

I couldn’t look at YoungJae in the face so I looked else where while still facing him.

 

SeulTae: *deep sigh* the week after the break up I decided to go to college in *tears up* America and pursue my BS in Nursing. So I stayed there for 4 years to finish up my studies. I only contacted my family during those 4 years along with Rachel and Alex.  So just like you I put my all into my studying and reviewing for my licensing exam.

 

I can feel myself crying as I re-lived those hurtful memories. I really do love him, but I’m not sure about giving my whole heart to him. He’s really a loving guy and he did tell me that he didn’t mean those words he said. I feel so conflicted about being hurt again. As I was in my thoughts I feel him wiping my tears and lifting my face to look at him.

 

SeulTae: I love you very much. *kisses him*

YoungJae: *pulls away from kiss* I love you too princess and I will do  everything to make you love me with your whole heart.

 

He kisses me again, but this kiss is filled with so much passion for our love but yet very sincere.

 

SeulTae: *smirks* you know I was listening to this awesome singer in America he was in a boy band called One Direction, but is now a soloist. He’s cute his songs are my kind of songs. My classmate introduce me to him.

 

I just had to say that because to be honest. I find his jealous side adorable and hot. Then I feel him wrap his arms around my waist real tight.

 

YoungJae: oh yeah! Well you can tell him that your off limits because *brings his face close to my face* your mine.

 

I gave him a peck on his lips and pinched his cheeks.

 

SeulTae: you’re cute when you get jealous. *giggles*

 

And the whole evening was filled with so much love and happiness, for this is the start of a long awaited journey for me and my prince.

 

YoungJae walks me to the front door.

 

YoungJae: I had great time tonight.

SeulTae: me too, good night text me when you arrive safely.

YoungJae: I will princess good night *kisses*

 

As I watched YoungJae drive away I walked inside the house with a big smile on my face not knowing my whole family is there witnessing the whole moment.

 

Mom: soooo *walks closer* how was it?

SeulTae: It was beautiful; but Mom *walks us to the couch* I love him so much, but I’m scared to get hurt again.

Dad: *comes and sits next to me* you can love him SeulTae, just give yourself time to let him in completely.

SeulTae: *hugs both Mom and Dad* thank you so much you both really know what to say.

Mom: your Dad is right dear, you let him love you and vice versa until you realize that you already let him in your heart again without you knowing it.

 

My parents are right I will love YoungJae more than ever until I can let him in completely.

 

SeulTae: Thank you Mom and Dad *kisses them on the cheeks*good night and love you both.

 

As I finished doing my bedtime routine and got ready for bed I get a text from YoungJae.

 

My Prince: Good night my princess I arrived at my dorm I share with one of my members. Just finished getting ready for bed. I'm so glad to have you back in my life. I love you so much. *send me a kissy face emoji*

My Princess: good night my prince and thank you for the wonderful date I'm also glad to have you back in my life. I love you *send also a kissy face emoji*

After sending YoungJae my text I lay in bed with a smile thinking about the date; I fall asleep peacefully for a new beginning in my life.
