We always think we have another chance.

Another chance to say hello, goodbye.

Another chance to say I love you, you're important.

We always think that time is on our side.

That we'll have time to listen.

But the truth is, we don't. 

And oh boy, time is in fact, running against us.

The person sitting right next to you at this very instant,

Could be gone the very next day. 

 

The truth is, you'll never know when your time will be up.

This scares us, and yet,

We continue to take our chances.

Gambling and bargaining with life for more time. 

Taking everything for granted.
