~Author’s POV~
There was awkward silence around the table as they waited for someone to speak up.
Both you and Taemin stared at the two awkward pair who were sitting in front of you.
Not being able to stand any more of the awkwardness, Taemin cleared his throat.
“So, what do you want to eat?”
Onew shrugged.
Juri shrugged.
You face palmed.
“… Just name something.”
“Chicken.”
“Spaghetti?”
Taemin nodded.
“Chicken spaghetti. Alright.”
Onew and Juri frowned.
The order was meant to be separated.
Taemin stood up and pulled you with him.
“Come on ____~ Let’s go order.”
You nodded and was about to leave with Taemin when Onew stood up.
“I’ll go with-“
“NO! You need to stay here and…. Protect Juri.”
Taemin smiled and tilted his head to Juri’s direction.
Juri frowned.
“From what? We’re in the PARK.”
Taemin and you nodded.
“Exactly.”
Juri rolled her eyes and Onew eyed Taemin suspiciously.
He knew that kid was up to something.
“Why not we just all go order-“
Taemin shot him a glare.
“SIT.”
“But-“
“HYUNG…. SIT.”
Onew sat back down just as Taemin and you went off to order the food.
Onew growled under his breath and Juri fiddled with the table cloth.
They sat there for a few moments, not knowing what to do nor say.
They would look around and sometimes meet eyes.
They would just smile and look away.
It wasn’t long until they finally spoke up.
“So…” They both started.
They turned at each other and smiled before looking away.
Once again, they fell into awkward silence.

~~~MEANWHILE AT THE NEARBY BUSH~~~
“This is so awkward I can die from the suffocating aura.”
“Can I agree with you any more, Key?”
MinHo rolled his eyes.
“Onew’s being a complete coward and chicken.”
“Must be the affect of eating so much of what he is.”
Jonghyun nodded.
“Onew is one pathetic fool.”
The trio nodded.
“You know we should give ourselves a name. Like you know... In those movies.”
“Jonghyun, we are in no movie.”
Jonghyun shot MinHo a look.
“Doesn’t matter.”
MinHo puffed his cheeks and went back to watching the awkward couple.
Key snapped his fingers after much thinking.
“How about The Smexeh Cupids??”
Jonghyun gasped and clasped his hands together.
“IT’S PERFECT!!!”
MinHo scowled.
“NO!”
But Key and Jonghyun paid no attention to MinHo’s protest.
“OH OH WE SHOULD GIVE OURSELVES CODE NAMES TOO!!!”
Key nodded.
“I WANT TO BE CALLED PARIS’ Y DIVA CUPID!!!”
Jonghyun grinned.
“AND I WANT TO BE CALLED THE EXTINCT DINO JONGJONG CUPID!!!”
The two pathetic and childish men turned to the completely embarrassed yet frustrated MinHo.
“WHAT ABOUT YOU MINHO YAH?!?!?!”
“Don’t drag me into this embarrassing world of yours.”
“JUST NAME SOMETHING!!!”
MinHo sighed and frowned deeply.
“Nothing.”
Jonghyun and Key gasped.
“PERFECT!!! THE PATHETIC TREE OF NOTHING CUPID!!!”
MinHo whip his head to them.
“WHAT?! NO!!!”
Yet again, he was ignored.
“NOW LET’S MAKE OUR OWN SECRET CODE!!!”
“I AM NOT A TREE-“
“HOW ABOUT-“
“AND I AM NOT PATHETIC-“
“LIVE WHILE WE ARE Y?!?!”
“KEY YOU ARE THE BEST!!! IT’S PURE PERFECTION!!!”
“NO IT’S PATHETIC!!!”
“SHUT IT MINHO, YOU ARE PATHETIC!!!”
“NOW LET OUR SMEXEH CUPID MISSION001 BEGIN NOW!!!!”
“URGH!!!! I AM NOT GOING TO BE A CUPID!!!!”
“YES YOU WILL BE A SMEXEH CUPID AND I WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT!!! DEAD OR ALIVE!!”
“I WOULD RATHER DIE!!!”
“NO U SHALL LIVE WHILE YOU ARE Y!!! AND BEING Y MAKES U A SMEXEH CUPID!!!!”
“URGH I AM GOING HOME AND-“
“NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!-”
They all shut their mouths.
Silence overpowered them.
They heard footsteps.
They peeked cautiously at the direction of the table and saw….
And saw…
Onew heading over to their bush.
“.” They all muttered in unison.
