Rain
Miscellany of BaekYeon
Taeyeon just finished running errands and it was already beyond afternoon when she finally finished doing all the things she needed to do. She had an early today which explains to why she was feeling tired already as she walked towards the bus stop to finally get home. She sat down on the waiting shed and stared at nowhere. It started to drizzle, and she was glad that she was finally under the cover of the shed and was seated when it did. She heaved a sigh and gazed around at the buzzling people who had their umbrellas out to cover themselves from the rain and who were impatiently waiting for the bus to finally arrive. She thought everyone was desperate to get home. Surely, the rain brought nothing but inconvenience, she thought.
She gazed at the sky and wondered when will the rain stop. Will it suddenly stop and clear the sky in a snap? Or will the rain slowly stop until there's no raindrop left anymore to pour out? She randomly wondered.
She was taken away from her train of thoughts when a bus finally slowly made its way to their direction. She watched as the first people in line finally rushed to get inside, a sense of relief painted across their faces as they hopped inside the huge vehicle. Then she realized she was the only one left in the shed. The bus was too cramped already for her to ride on and the vehicle was already closing its doors already and soon, it finally took off to get to the next station. She felt lonely all of a sudden. It was weird but she felt isolated. Literally and figuratively. It's as if she had to face the harsh weather by herself with no one to get through it. Dramatic. She thought to herself in an attempt to ease her feelings away. It was as if the sky could hear her thoughts, a thunder came in and startled the city. And the next thing she knew, the rain was pouring heavily already. It was nothing compared to the drizzle earlier. It seems like the sky was crying hevaily, she thought.
Few more minutes of waiting, another bus finally arrived at the stop and she stood up. Finally. All of a sudden she was feeling light and excited. She felt excited to finally be going home. At last. With a happy heart, she hopped inside and felt more relieved to see it almost empty. She took a seat b
