Y/N POV

…W-We kis-” before Mina could finish her sentence, the door to the practice room swings open and inside comes a really happy looking Wendy. She grins at everyone in the room and stops at me.

“Y/N/N!!!” she shouts really loud, causing everyone to cover their ears.

“What is it?” I ask annoyed, because she interrupted an important moment, making her frown and huff at me.

“Here I am, wanting to tell you the great news that I have and what I get is an annoyed ‘What is it?’, really Y/N/N?” she asks slightly angry. In an instant my mood changes, from being annoyed to being slightly afraid, because an angry Wendy, is as scary as a Koala who was hit with water.

“I-I didn’t mean it l-like that WenWen…I was just a-annoyed because I can’t think about a good r-rhythm for a song.” I stutter out and put my laptop to the side, while standing up and smiling apologetically. I walk in front of her and take her hands in mine.

“I’m really sorry WenWen!” I tell her, making her roll her eyes at my cheesy antics.

“Whatever.” She says and turns her head to the side. Suddenly she smirks and looks back at me.

“Well...how about you give me a kiss on the cheek as an apology?” she chirps up grinning. I shrug and lean in.

“Wait!” someone screams from the sidelines, making me stop. Wendy and I turn our heads at the same time to look at the person.

“I-I think you should stop with this, b-before Mina-unnie murders someone!” Dahyun says nervously glancing between a glaring Mina and us. I gulp, while meeting her cold eyes and give her a small smile. She returns it with a scary fake one and then walks out of the room. I stand there watching her leave, before feeling eyes on me. I turn to see all the girls, including Wendy, look at me as if I was crazy.

“What?” I ask them oblivious. All the girls groan and shake their heads.

“Go after her!!!” they shout at the same time, making me scramble out of the room.

Once in the hall, I think of the possibilities of where to Mina could have gone to ‘Hmm…maybe she went to the café in front of the building or maybe she went to the ice cream shop on the main road?’ I decide to look at the café first and then walk around the neighborhood.

After walking for hours trying to find Mina, I give up and go back to the girls. The girls watch my exhausted self, flop down on the floor and give me encouraging smiles.

“Didn’t find her?” Nayeon asks me and I shake my head.

“No, I looked everywhere! At the café, the ice cream shop and even the park near here!” I tell them and they look shocked.

“Even the park?!” they ask surprised and I nod my head.

“Did you look on the roof?” Momo asks pointing up, while sipping on her juice through a straw, making all of us look at her stunned.

Shaking my head, I get up and walk out of the door. There on the roof is Mina, she is looking out to the city, while sitting on a bench. Not making too much sound, I walk to the bench and sit down next to her. She doesn’t look at me and I don’t know what to say, so we sit there, not saying a word and look at the city. Suddenly an idea pops into my head and I grab my phone, turning on some music. I stand up, while putting my phone on the bench and hold out my hand to Mina. First she looks confused, but after a few seconds she lays her hand in mine and stands up. I walk her to a spot where there’s space for us to dance, we get into position and start dancing.

Once we finish, we hear clapping and cheers from around us. The girls and uncle stand there smiling brightly. I blush lightly and look at Mina’s red face. Seeing her smile slightly, makes me smile too.

“And that goes on Instagram!” Nayeon exclaims loudly, making Mina and me look at her with wide eyes. Mina walks out of the embrace which we still are in and walks towards a now nervous looking Nayeon.

Before Mina could reach her, Nayeon runs away. Mina sprints after her, she chases Nayeon around the roof, Nayeon runs to the girls in her reach and uses them as shields.

It goes on for a while, until Nayeon decides to hide behind me, making me her shield. Mina stops in front of me and sends daggers at Nayeon. She reaches forward to grab Nayeon, but the latter reacts quick by pushing me forward, making Mina and me fall to the ground.

I push myself up and once I see the position Mina and I are in, I feel the Déjà vu in this situation. I get off of Mina and help her up. We are both blushing, everyone looks at us smugly, but before anyone can make any comments, Wendy runs through the roof doors.

“Y/N/N! I forgot to tell you the good news!” she says loudly beside me and I cover my ears. ‘I swear this girl is going to make me deaf sometime soon.’

“Oh Yeah! What did you want to tell me?” I ask her, masking the feeling of not hearing like before.

“You’re allowed to be a guest on the show!” she tells me jumping up and down. I smile at her and hug her to calm her down.

“That’s great WenWen! Do you know when exactly?” I ask her and she nods.

“Yes. On the 3^rd episode, it’s where all of us go to an amusement park or waterpark, that’s not decided yet!” she says smiling.

“Really? That sounds great!” I tell her smiling too. The other girls look at us confused, as to what we’re talking about.

“What are you two talking about?” Chaeyoung asks us, titling her head cutely.

“It’s about the show you’re going to film with the Red Velvet girls. I asked Wendy and her members to ask the director if I could be a guest in it and he agreed!” I tell them and all of the girls smile, knowing I’d be there with them.

“I think all of you should head home, it’s getting late and I don’t want you girls to get sick, because of the cold air or due to not getting enough sleep.” Uncle tells us worried. All of the girls nod and walk back inside to grab their bags, including Wendy. I’m about to follow them, but uncle stops me.

“Y/N! I want to talk to you about what happened earlier.” he says and I look at him questioningly.

“Yes, uncle?” I ask him.

“I’m not really comfortable with what’s happening between you and Mina. I mean, you know I’m supportive of you liking girls and all that, but you too know that I’m skeptical about you dating my idols. I don’t want to put Mina’s career on the line, you know what’ll happen once it’s know that you’re dating her. There are some crazy fans of yours, who are willing to do anything to ruin her, I hope you didn’t forget what happened to Taeyeon, because of them.” he says sadly and I frown, shaking my head.

“No, uncle. I could never forget what happened to her, you know she was the one I wanted to marry…” I say, trailing of in the process.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bring that up, but it’s important that you have that in the back of your mind, because I don’t want the same thing to happen to Mina and I can see that she makes you happy again, so try not to ruin your future, Y/N.” he says and walks back inside, not waiting for my answer.

I walk to the bench and sit down again. After what felt like forever, someone sits down on my right side and another one on the left. I look at the two people and smile sadly. They give me sad smiles themselves and hug me. I sit there for a second and break down in tears. Both try to calm me down, by rubbing my back and saying soothing words into my ears.

“Hey…it’s alright, Y/N/N. It wasn’t your fault.” B-Bear whispers to me.

“Yeah, Y/N/N…sometimes stuff happens, that we don’t have control over.” Monkey tells me.

It takes me a while to calm down, but when I do, we just sit there, silently starring out to the city. After half an hour, we decided to go home, but because the boys didn’t trust me to be alone for the night, they took me to their place, making me sleep on their couch for the night.

The next day, Jinyoung wakes me up telling me to get ready to go to the company. I do as I’m told and finish after thirty minutes. The boys were sitting at the dining table eating their breakfast like there is no tomorrow, as I walk up to them, I grab my own stuff, I sit down between Yugyeom and Mark and start eating too. We finish up and drive to the company.

At the company, I make my way to the girls practice room, because I left my stuff there from the night before and I need to continue on the song.

I open the door, only to reveal…
