Artificial Love.
The next morning, a ticklish sensation around Yifan’s neck stirs him awake. He peels his eyelids open with a yawn, blinking to ebb the sleep away. Then, something warm radiates against him, so he peers down only to see slightly tousled hair.
The ticklish feeling is actually warm breaths from Junhee. His wife has tucked herself in his arms. Yifan slowly distances himself just to see her face. She looks so serene, at peace. Lips a little apart, soft snores leaving from them.
So adorable. Yifan smiles like an idiot before he recalls that Junhee was upset at him for deleting the picture yesterday. Yifan’s face drops drastically. With his fingers, he brushes the bed hair away from her forehead. The action somehow wakes her.
Well, she is indeed a light sleeper. “Hey.” Due to the hoarse voice, Junhee jolts briefly, blinking fast before lifting her sight towards the other. Yifan smiles, a little forced. He only hears her groaning before she hides her face under his chin.
Yifan is not sure whether to grin or be scared for his life by the sound and the action. Taking a deep breath, he bravely brings her closer with an arm around her waist. There is a small whine this time. Yifan blushes as well as Junhee.
“Good morning,” Yifan greets, playing the ends of her hair within his reach. Junhee only hums shortly, lazily grabbing her husband’s shirt with two of her fingers. “Are you,” Yifan swallows thickly, his heartbeats galloping as he cradles her cheek to face each other, “Are you upset about yesterday… ?”
Junhee instantly looks away, annoyed. Yifan gets his answer. “I’m sorry,” He lowers the hand from her face, looking guilty, “You can take many pictures after this…” Junhee leaves a quick peck on her husband’s mouth before going to her hiding spot once again, “Okay.”
She can feel how warm Yifan’s neck has become. Well, if only she can see the stupid smile on her husband’s face. “Are we okay… ?” Junhee almost giggles. “Take a guess,” She drops another kiss on his neck this time.
Yifan’s whole face is flaming now.
He wraps his arms fully around her before squishing his wife in his embrace. A long muffled whine of his name emits out of the smaller as a result. “Lemme go right this instant,” Junhee half-commands half-whines, struggling to set free.
She then pouts before staying still, knowing he will never let go. Yifan never had that kind of tingle before when the soft lips touched the skin of his neck. Goodness, the things he feels with his wife… He wants to explore more with her.
“Yifan…”
He finally lets her free by the soft call. His wife stares at him grumpily, but a smile carves on Yifan’s mouth. She blinks in confusion once he plants a kiss on her forehead. “Wh-What was that for?” Yifan the soft flesh of her cheek, still having a silly smile, “For forgiving me.”
There is a crease on Junhee’s forehead, “Who said I forgave you?” In an instant, the smile vanishes from her husband’s face, “You told me to take a guess…” This is not fair. Yifan is making that face again. That face where she cannot even get angry.
“We’re okay,” She frames his face, adding pressure to his cheeks specifically. Junhee giggles at the fish-like mouth of her husband. Yifan hugs her out of relief. Junhee chuckles softly, her arms looping around his neck.
“Let’s get ready for today. I want to take you to Yuntai Garden.”
There is pure excitement in her husband’s voice. Junhee laughs mentally. He can be a kid sometimes. “Well, we can get ready only if you leave your arms around me,” Junhee teases. Yifan clumsily does what he is told, “Sorry.”
Junhee pecks on his lips before climbing off the bed, liking the instant pink on his cheeks, “I’ll shower first, okay?” Yifan sits on the edge of the bed, nodding at her back stupidly. His heart suddenly races for no reason.
The love he has for her seems to expand even more. He needs to tell her how he feels for her in the garden today. Or else he does not know when he will get the perfect chance.

Yifan cannot stop staring every time his wife is not looking during breakfast. Even though it seems like Junhee does not notice, she actually does. When their driver arrives, Yifan leans his head on her shoulder once they are seated, startling Junhee.
She laces their fingers together, smiling, “What is it?” Yifan holds in a silly grin, shaking his head. “I don’t believe that.” Her voice is strict, but it has no bite in it. Yifan releases a soft chuckle, “You’ll know it soon.”
Junhee takes a glance at her smiling husband before eyeing the cars outside while resting her head against her husband, closing her eyes momentarily. She wonders what has her husband smiling from time to time.

Junhee’s mouth is wide open by the view. Never in her whole life has she seen various colors of flowers and trees all in one place. It is so breathtaking until she goes wordless for the first few minutes after they reached Yuntai Garden.
Even the entrance is marvelous, large water fountains taking up most of the space. She walks ahead of Yifan to take a closer look at the fountain at the ground before glancing up to the fountains along the stairs. Yifan quickly fishes out his mobile device and takes pictures.
Lots of it. It is just his wife’s back, but the pictures come out so pretty. The colorful scenery is a plus. Later he will have trouble choosing wallpaper for his phone because everything is perfect. “I want to go everywhere,” Junhee speaks after turning around to her husband, literally beaming.
Yifan nods with a small smile, admiring how enthusiastic she is. When he first came to this place with his parents, he had the same reaction. His wife grabs his hand before looking up at him, “Remember what you said.”
Yifan blinks with confusion before he gets it. She can get to take tons of pictures of him as much as she wants. He nods thrice while doing the okay sign. Junhee brightens up even more with a side-hug, and Yifan is so in love.

They have gone to most spots in the garden. Junhee’s favorite place was next to a humongous pink high-heeled shoe. It took around an hour, with them stopping by pretty flowers and colorf
