Continuing players were obviously excited and even new players were undeniably drawn in to the game. A couple hours into the updated game, all players were suddenly dragged to the nearest town and a New Rulebook was placed into their inventories. Some people scoffed and threw them away - instantly dying - while most, out of curiosity or after witnessing the others die, read its contents and quickly realized how the game had just turned real.   The authorities are generally aware of the game and its problems but have no leads as to who did this and why. Despite the news plastered everywhere, people join the game every day, some to help their loved ones out while others out of vanity or hope of gain. Different organizations have publicly attempted to find loopholes in SOULART's killing mechanism but none have succeeded. However, one company has privately decided that to beat the game, they'll follow the rules and find a conclusion on their own.  MORE ABOUT THE GAME Unique titles, like their name, are unique conditions that your character can randomly earn. For instance, someone with the title Dark Slayer may gain +25 attack temporarily whenever they are battling a dark monster. Getting them is rare and mysterious since no one knows how nor get notified when they gain their titles. Some are more useful than others. Some are temporary while others are passive and consistent. If a player has one, duration and active vs. passive effect should be mentioned.  REAL-LIFE CHARACTER He or she can be from anywhere in the world. The restriction is that she (general pronoun) must somehow be related to the medical company known as Allied Heart  and must play the game SOULART. The character must have been playing SOULART on the day of its update or decided to join the game for whatever reason. Both new and experienced players are welcome. However, be aware that experienced players will generally have a higher level than new players so don't be discouraged. IN-GAME PLAYER Players will get to choose their race (which affects base stats, appearance, and natural class affiliation) and class (which affects stat growth rates, attacks / spells, and in-game play). Please do the best you can to make your player realistic even if you don't have a lot of experience with games (because I don't either which is what Xana is here for). There's a lot of optional things that will personalize the game experience for you. Just as a reminder, you can die in this game so you probably don't want to be too casual.   As for appearances, before the incident on update day, everyone looked like their own customized characters. However, after the incident, players found that their appearances had changed to closely resemble themselves in real life except heights (Lalafell only) and supernatural traits (like the AuRa). Th

Chapter 12: Ahaha- I commented on the teaser for Yongwoon/Vestia but bypassed this because I needed to pass out last night. ;;
But !! This was such a cute and interesting introduction to the established characters through the event of an actual introduction in the story. Aaron seems like such a sweetheart- even if he seems to be stuck playing wrangler/generalized guide atm for the mish mash of people coming into Allied Heart lmAO. The subtleties between Wonjun and Taekwoon being unraveled through the eyes of Aaron was certainly an amusing trail to follow throughout this. I adore your writing- even with the shortest of appearances, you really give a solid feeling of distinction to each character to make them seem familiar (which could be from the perspective the writing is in since I suppose since even if it is in 3rd person perspective, Aaron was definitely the one directing the flow along with Wonjun, Taekwoon, and then later Yoichi once he popped up.) I'm not making much sense lol, sorry for my babbling. ;; __ ;;

Chapter 13: I high key screamed when I saw Soulart in my updated subscription feed. ;; u ;;
I'll reply to this once I read the teaser but your A/N reminded me of a previous applyfic that wrote my character's teaser in the perspective of the people around him!

Also! Lol, I had set it to friends only, but I've made my app public again!

Chapter 4: Thank you for the review!! I totally understand the changes you need to make to the app!! I can see Aisha occasionally having a shorter temper especially when it comes to competition so that's completely ok!! I didn't have a very good grasp of the timeline anyways so I understand if you need to adjust! Thank you :)

Chapter 4: Thank you for the review! LOL- I had the most giant brain fart I know about the heights and noticed that even before turning it in BUT FORGOT TO EDIT IT LMAO I I'M SORRY. Yeah, he was a beta tester, but unlike most of the other players, he kind of went too hard too fast?? He ended up burning himself out on the game and kind of dropped it for a while. As for the account transferring, he is just very indulgent, so if his gf at the time expresses interest in something he will go out of his way to make it happen- in those cases, his higher level accounts made gameplay easier so he was okay with it over if his gf was happy. :')
He and his ex don't really talk much. It's not for bad reasons, the two don't really share much of the same interest anymore. After the update, he did send an in game message to his old account though.
Funny story, in Final Fantasy Online I don't really like the Bard class- which is what I based a good amount of this app on. (since the races are from there too. lol) I'm not one for support classes since I at monitoring others and as such I am usually delegated to one of the DPS positions. ;; As for the secondary healing, I apologize since that was more of an offhanded assumption on my part with the skill sets from Final Fantasy Online- specifically one called "Second Wind" that is a healing skill available to most classes since you can switch classes and level up skills from their skill trees. (I can definitely remove it! But I noticed that you mentioned switching classes was permissible in SOULART too- even if the switching of classes is not recommended, the option could open up possibilities for cross class compatible skills that may be weaker in comparison to the main skills denoted for each class- basically secondary skills.) But basically I was pretty dumb and drew that connection without seeking clarification so I can remove it if you want! I'm getting worried about the length of this so I'll cont. in a reply to this. Lmao-
