"Well," the deity before them adds, "your presences aren't the accident. It is, rather, the lack of introduction that was the mistake. After your deaths, we were to sit down and discuss the blessings which each wished in your new life. However, your parents-"
The deity indicates one of the females of the group.
"-apparently signed everyone's papers after their own deaths, saying, 'A new world?! That sounds just like a video game! Who wouldn't want to go there?' "
She sighs at the accurate representation of her parents.
"Was there a possibility of declining it?" the female asks, stepping forward. "If my parents hadn't signed all the papers?"
"Well, yes," another deity answers, raising a brow at the seemingly random inquiry.
"Well then," she mutters, turning to face the group. "I think, then, that I'll need to apologize to you all first."
