individuals devoted to tracking down rare and priceless items, be they unparalleled treasures or endangered monsters or wonders unknown. such pursuits are marked by a special hunter license obtained only after passing a rigorous and deadly exam, allowing them to go almost anywhere and do almost anything. the pass rate is said to be less than one in a hundred thousand.

a / n: should i be doing this? probably not.. doing this anyways? yup. as you can probably guess, this is based off of hunter x hunter. the story will begin similarly to the canon story where the main cast will meet at the hunter exam, starting from the boat ride that picks up applicants from their various locations to becoming actual hunters and finding their specializations. i'm still debating when this story would take place, whether during canon, after canon, replacing canon, or some weird mixture of the two. (if anyone has ideas, let me know.) i do, however, want to definitely get the cast to play greed island, mostly because that was my favorite arc. that's enough of me rambling. i hope you (maybe) apply, enjoy the story, and not hate me for making this so hard to read.

yes, he is sadistic but can be limited on several occasions! he's not exactly borderline abusive, he just turns that way if it's with a criminal and has a very deep crime that he thinks "punishment" would resolve it instead of just "chaining" or "locking them" away. however, when it comes to the exams he's not abusive but sadistic. he doesnt really apply any violence to the examinees but rather placing and planning things that can trigger a domino effect to either their failure or downfall. that way, no one would trace it back to him!!

yes, he forgave his mother but they're still not on good terms. in fact, he lost contact with her when he passed the exams so it was one of the reason why he chose to be a blacklist hunter :>

acckkk sorry if didn't clarified both cherry bomb and nuclear bomb !! yes you understood it right! cherry bomb are more on smoke and noise that comes in handy with his "chain factory" move to blind his opponents. as for nuclear bomb, it's the same with the impact and explosion of a grenade. but i suppose it would take longer for chihiro to master nuclear bomb hehe
