Just Because[CONTENTID1]Cram school newbie...[/CONTENTID1]

"Uh-huh, and I should care about this because of why?"
Eunjoo groaned, eventually banging her head at the Byun's dining table. Warming up to Baekhyun's girlfriend was harder than expected. But asking something of the college noona about academics was even harder.
"Unnie, please. Just help me pass Chemistry. My batchmates who had taken the entrance exam earlier told us to expect difficult Chemistry. I'm just at a passing grade in that subject." Eunjoo was almost crying, but she thought that maybe her misery would somehow get the cruel Hana to comply to her.
Or maybe not. "No."
Eunjoo resorted to looking up at Hana and putting on the most adorable pout she can muster - which wasn't even adorable in the beginning, in her own opinion of herself. 'Desperate times, call for desperate measures.'
But her despair wasn't enough, "Are you kidding me? Only my Baekhyun's aegyo will work on me. it up, honey."
Hana turned her head around and shouted across the kitchen, "My Love, Baekie. The talk is over, can I go over there now? I miss you so much."
Eunjoo wanted to gag, to cringe, to vomit. But all the came out was an estranged cry and a defeated head-bang. She heard the chair across her screech at the floor after a faint 'alright' from Baekhyun by his living room.
It was Friday that day; a day Eunjoo had reserved for her best friend. Unfortunately, Hana's classes ended early and that she went straight to her younger boyfriend's house. Eunjoo would have found that moment horrid because she would have to be a third wheel the rest of the day, but when she remembered Baekhyun telling her proudly that Hana noona is a cute Chemistry geek, Eunjoo brightened up. Thus, it led to her asking Hana to tutor her in Chemistry. And further on it led to her being rejected by the cute Chemistry geek.
"Your phone's been pinging. Why don't you just ask your boyfriend to help you instead? Baekhyun told me that guy of yours is just as intelligent, but not as much as I am."
With a pout, Eunjoo looked up. Maybe she had warmed up a bit at Hana considering that she isn't a bit irritated at the way Hana spoke. "Jungkook's not my boyfriend, anymore."
"Doesn't seem like that to me." Hana shrugged one last time before exiting the room.
Eunjoo, with a defeated sigh, took her phone.
ping! ping! ping! ping! ping!
gingerkookies to injoory:
-oi, gashinaya, i need to ask you something...
-can you pay me back the bill i paid for your milk tea?
-wait, i was kidding. you really don't have to pay me back. i'll... wait, i'm thinking of something...
-yeah, okay, i got nothing. but, srsly, don't pay me back.
-anyways, alien hyung told me he's taking cram school with you. is it true?
Her actions were sloppy as she replied.
injoory to gingerkookies:
-i wasn't planning to pay back anyways. mehrong.
-yeah, why'd you ask?
Eunjoo felt slightly perplexed as she saw that her message was sent and seen, but Jungkook did not reply. But then she reminded herself that even when they were once together, he didn't really text her that much.
Before she could keep her phone and Chemistry text books - in hopes that maybe her props could convince Hana to comply with her -, Eunjoo heard some stomping coming her way before she stared blankly at a pouting Hana by the doorway. "Fine, I'll be tutoring you. Just don't ask my Baekhyun to help you study, okay? Sessions start tomorrow after your cram school. Aish, I swear the things Baekhyun makes me do."
Eunjoo grinned when Hana stomped away passing by a smug-smiling Baekhyun staring at his best friend. Then he went back to coo and praise his girlfriend more.

Jungkook seemed busier than usual the next day. He seemed to have skipped lunch with BTS and Sejin and Eunjoo that day. Though they saw him around the hallways after they've eaten, the Jeon boy was hard to catch as he was dashing around quickly.
Eunjoo sighed at being void if Jungkook's presence for one day, because the stoic boy suddenly became clingy to her as he was with his BTS pals, eventually admitting to herself that having the itchy Jungkook busy and away was indifferent.
After lunch, they all went about in their respective classes.
Eunjoo was busy removing a piece of meat stuck in between her barbed teeth with her tongue when Jimin and Taehyung approached her - as always - after a mini activity being asked to be made by a carefree substitute teacher.
"Do you need a mirror? Toothpick? Man, it to have braces. No offense, though." Jimin sighed and threw a pitiful glance at the girl while he offered her a clean napkin and a toothpick which the latter bashfully accepted.
Taehyung watched straight-faced as Eunjoo covered her tooth-picking fro
