SANDARA’S POV

I quickly took a bath and literally went out of my room to see Bom entertaining Donghae, I stepped out of my door and closed it, making them turn their heads towards me.

“Good morning Dara” Donghae greeted, I just smiled, I still don’t know what he is up to. I need to find out.

“Good morning” I greeted back as I sat down on the couch and Bom serving tea cups.

“We need to talk Dara”

“I bet that’s why you’re here” I took a sip of my tea as he started, but then early in the morning, I heard the door bell, Bom opened it and to my surprise, Jiyong is here, he eyed me as he saw Donghae sitting, but he knows too well why he’s here, he calmed down.

“Donghae” he greeted

“It’s good to know that you received my message Jiyong” huh?? He knew? I looked at my boy and he nodded

“Now, let’s get started, Bom I need you here and TOP”

“But TOP isn’t here…”

“He will be… NOW” I heard him mutter and I heard another knock from the door. Darn, how can this guy be so suspicious even if he’s helping? He acts like a detective! Bom opened the door and revealed her boyfriend, well soon to-be-husband.

“Donghae” TOP acknowledge Donghae’s presence.

“Wait, what’s going on? Why are you guys here?” I asked, I am really curious

“Donghae called me and I called TOP. To be short, that’s why we’re here. And I would be thankful and happy if you’re not playing with us Donghae” Jiyong glared at Donghae

“No, I’m helping you guys out” he said

“Good” Jiyong nodded.

“So?” I asked, wanting for him to tell us a very long story.

“I wouldn’t go on to too much details but I need to tell you something about your mother Dara.” I nodded, I know this will be too much for me.

He started during the past before our wedding, Donghae is a great business man, and my mom wants to have a merger with him that’s why she wants me to marry him, Donghae never really loved me, it was all a lie. I don’t know what made him, a serious person to agree with these things to my mom.

I couldn’t think of any lies my mom would do. Does she hate me that much that she’ll do everything just to make me feel like I’m the very worst person in the whole world? Yeah, my life ! It really does!

“Dara, I know I am not in the place to tell you this, we need to call your dad” My dad? Why?

“Dara, you need to know something before everything gets worse”

“What is it?” I finally asked

“Call your dad…” I nodded and got my phone and called my dad, he answered immediately.

“Father”

“Dara?”

“Dad, I’m sorry but this should be quick, do you have something to say to me?” I heard him gulp

“Actually there is…” I’m nervous now, what is it!

“Dara, listen carefully okay? I hope you will understand why I did this…” I nodded in response

“Dara… she….she is not your real mother.” My eyes grew big hearing it, what?!

“What are you talking about?” I asked, shaking, Jiyong went close to me and placed his arms around my waist.

“This is hard for me… I told this to Jiyong before he asked you to be his girlfriend…” I looked at Jiyong who’s eyes were worried and sad “But don’t blame him for not saying this to you. I told him not to and Dara, please… believe in us”

“How dad? How am I suppose, to believe everyone who’re lying to me right now?” I snapped, not caring anymore

“Dara, if I ask you, when you were little, a carefree child, you still don’t know what to do, if I said these to you, what will you do?” I didn’t answer

“See? Dear, I am just worried about how you’ll feel.”

“You are dad you are, I am very angry and shocked right now”

“Exactly my point Dara!” I heard my father yell “If I said this to you when you were young would you just sit there and be calm while I’m talking and saying this to you? NO, you would run away and be rebellious, please Dara…please…” He’s right

“But I’m still angry”

“I know… Let’s talk later, go to my office later with Jiyong, I can’t just tell you the story over the phone.” I nodded

“I will…”

“I love you Dara…”

“I love you too Dad…” He hung up and I sighed, I glared at Jiyong

“Dara, you understand well enough why right? Please, don’t argue” I sighed in defeat

“You guys are just too much to handle…” I said as I slumped back on the couch and sighed.

“Dara” Jiyong sighed

“I’m not arguing, continue with the talking, everything’s fine” I straightened up and I saw Jiyong shook his head.

Donghae kept on talking, he told me about my mom, sohee, how sohee got back. So it was all because of my mother, and my mother manipulated Donghae before the engagement. I sighed, and they looked at me,

“Something’s wrong Dara?” Donghae asked, I looked at him and smiled, I shook my head,

“No, it’s just, the details are too much to handle. Everything I know was all a lie, I don’t want to live with it. “
