Description

Min Yoongi has been waiting to have his first colour dream since he was 17 because a dream in colour is the dream of your soulmate, whoever they are. In a world where all humans have only black and white dreams the only colour dreams one gets are those of their soulmate, if they have one. Soulmates get each other's dreams in colour and can speak to them through those dreams, a privilege Yoongi has coveted for a long time. Yoongi has also coveted his best friend Kim Seokjin for a long time but unfortunately for Yoongi, Seokjin's soulmate loves sleeping and occupies his mind in a way Yoongi never does.
Park Jimin made the worst mistake of his life by getting drunk and driving himself home one day before his 17th birthday. When he wakes up, things have changed drastically, the biggest change being the y voice that interrupted his first pleasant dream in a LONG time.

Foreword

This is a soulmate AU :) Main relationship is Yoonmin and side relationships include Namjin and Vkook!

So, in this AU, everyone can see in colour but their dreams are in black and white only. This can change when a person turns 17 as once they do, they can start getting their soulmate's dreams_ in colour. (IF they have a soulmate and if their soulmate is 17 or older) In addition to that, they can speak to their soulmate while they're dreaming as unlike how it is in their own dream, they're aware during their soulmate's dream. It's a Yoonmin fic but there's traces of Namjin, Vkook, Yoonjin and Jikook!

Chapter 7: i just finished reading and i'd be lying if i said i cried bc that wasn't crying....that was straight up screaming+bawling lmao :( i loved the concept of having soulmates and meeting them and communicating with them in dreams. how i wished it happened in real life. i loved jealous yoonmin during the time when they first saw each other. it was so cute. what triggered my tears was that last part where yoongi had forgotten everything except jimin. i think that was bittersweet. but i still liked how you included it in the story :) thank you for a wonderful read, author-nim! i hope to read more from you x

p.s. the hoseok colour dream bit was so hilarious that was probably my second fave part lmao :)))

Chapter 7: I just finished reading this at school and everyone asked me what is wrong with me because i just cried a river after reading the last part .Thanks author nim for experimenting all this feelings ,from the laughd and also the tears.This was very well written and a lovely and kind of realistic.IJust need to read something happy to forget this sad feeling in my chest..

Chapter 7: Well... What a story, full of surprises. I read it in one go, and while looking back I have to say that it really has changed somewhere in the middle. I think u can divide it into two parts: The part before the namjin chapter and the epilogue. The first part was only: Wow! Super cute, exactly the right amount of drama and u just couldn't stop reading!! Loved it! Well, the epilogue.. It was written really well, the point is just, I personally don't like stories with an ending like this ^^ so I'm not a fan of open endings either but I probly love it when they're it's still room to imagine ur own little sequel, with the magic of the story still fully in u. Now that Yoongi is so old or seems so far away :( BUT that's what I personally like, as I said, it was written super nice! :)
Love this story, I think I'll just read it a second time (and maybe a third, and maybe a fourth, and maybe...)

Chapter 7: Lol the Parking Area part had me cracking up and laughing till I almost fell of my bed!

Chapter 7: I really loved Jimin and Yoongi's love story. The ending killed me though. The love that Yoongi felt for Jimin and vice versa was very touching. Thank you for thengreat story!!
