"Yeobo..."

For a second Taemin couldn't recognize the dark figure sitting at the park bench. A dark snap back cap covered the stranger's face while wavy hair spilled out from its sides. In addition to the cap the person wore an equally dark face mask. But, once Taemin heard the stranger speak there was no doubt in his mind about who the person was.

"You look like a walking shadow." Taemin teased while walking over to sit next to Minzy and wrapping his arm around her waist. 

"And you look like a walking scandal!," Minzy countered . " Why aren't you wearing anything to cover your face or your hair?!" she asked urgently.

"I didn't feel like hiding today." Taemin said in an exasperated tone. "And I don't want my girlfriend dressing like some grim reaper either." Taemin laughed again.

Minzy couldn't help but smiling as she raised her hat to reveal more of her face and pulled down the mask covering .

"I guess it is a little much..." Minzy mumbled.

"Yes," Taemin agreed. " And it makes it harder for me to do this..." Taemin leaned in and gave Minzy a quick peck on her lips. Minzy was taken by surprise but smiled once she realized what he was doing.

"You're so cheesy..." she sighed as she pulled him closer by wrapping her arms around his neck. They two became lost in this position as their innocent kiss became more passionate. Taemin's hand timidly slid down to Minzy's waist and hovered there uncertainly. With more confidence Minzy freed her hand from its entanglement in Taemin's  hair and brought it down to his. Gently placing her hand over his she lowered it to her upper thigh in one bold move. Taemin's heart began to pound  more furiously as he became more enraptured in their kiss while gently her upper thigh. The two carelessly continued, oblivious to everything around them,  as Minzy's hand left Taemin's and reached for his shirt.

"But WAIT! I also heard that she called her..." a voice in the distance penetrated the lovers' private moment. 

Minzy pulled away from Taemin and put her finger to her lip as a signal for him to be very quiet. Still in a state of lust Taemin languidly followed directions as Minzy tugged on his shirt for him to walk away from the park. Minzy walked at a fast pace a few feet ahead of him, while he he still trailed behind ignorant to the observers who watched him leave.

"Hey Victoria wasn't that Taemin?" the loud voice from earlier inquired.

Victoria squinted into the fading light to get a look at the retreating figure. 

"Yeah I think it was him." she said " But who was he with? It looked like a girl but I couldn't tell. Did you get a good look Sua?"

"Kinda. " Sua said tentatively, " Well not really" she admitted. Victoria sighed in annoyance.

"But I mean it couldn't be a girl right..? I mean Taemin wouldn't be in a relationship right? I mean I thought Hyoyeon had a thing for him." Sua continued loudly

"Shh! You can't just be saying stuff like that out loud! " Victoria warned. " Anyway, lets not jump to conclusions. He could have just been meeting a friend."

"Yeah ... that explains everything." Sua said with an eye roll as the two continued their walk from the dance building back to meet a manager that would take them home.

"Minzy wait up!" Taemin said struggling to match Minzy's fast pace.

"Why don't we stop and talk? Or we could get an ice cream like the first time we went out.. I-I.. I mean thats if you don't want to continue what happened back there in the park..." Taemin trailed off.

Minzy sighed and slowed her pace to be in sync with Taemin. 

"Sorry it's just that. Well you know how much I like you Taemin. I'm just really worried about getting caught. I mean I know those comments aren't important, but I don't know if I could take another thousand articles talking about how ugly I am, or how I have nothing special about me, or how you're like the golden child of-"

"Stop!" Taemin said more aggressively than he meant. "Minnie.. you can't worry about that. I know it's scary but you have to realize the only opinions that matter are the ones from the people that actually care about you." He stopped to pull Minzy into a comforting embrace.

"Now my cute little shadow lets go do something fun and stop worrying so much." Taemin said switching back to a light hearted tone.

"Ooh! An ice cream shop!" he said bouncing like a little kid. He grabbed Minzy's hand and led her to the door of a quaint ice cream parlor that looked like it was about to close.

"Oh sorry were you about to finish for the night?" Minzy asked as she and Taemin stepped into the colorful store. The owner was a sweet and placid looking aged woman who was seated behind the register.

"Uh- yes, but I could never deny a couple as cute as you two." she said with an endearing smile. Minzy couldn't help but blush in embarrassment.

Her and Taemin found seats at a table in the back corner of the room. The old women quickly placed their ice cream on the table and walked back to her register. After they had given her their thanks, Taemin shifted his focus back to Minzy. He reached out his hand to caress hers briefly before relinquishing it so she could eat her ice cream.

There wasn't much conversation, but Taemin found himself okay with that. He was enjoying the silence while being with her. He simply sat with a lazy smile while he watched as Minzy scooped small spoons of vanilla ice cream and ate it at a rapid speed. She was eating so fast that she had gotten some near the corner of her lips. Taemin laughed silently to himself and gently reached across the table to wipe it with his sleeve. Minzy looked up briefly from her food to flash Taemin an innocent rounded, crescent eye smile. Taemin thought he could feel his heart jump for a second in that moment, and he found himself again wishing that such worrisome and complicated things didn't surround him and his love.
