“…your clingy boyfriend was looking for you…”

“…J-Hope’s boyfriend…”

Those words were in repeat mode in Taehyung’s head.

Right after he left J-Hope and the others behind, he went straight to the bathroom in the upper floor, knowing that it would be much calmer there. Luckily, the bathroom was unoccupied and V went in and locked the door right away.

He felt bad about leaving Rapmon, Jin and their two friends, but he was not ready for Jin’s words and now he just wanted to be alone for a moment, to not be disturbed for a while and to be able to think.

As he locked the bathroom’s door, Taehyung fell on the hard and cold floor and sat there in silence, letting one or two tears escape from his eyes.

‘J-Hope has a boyfriend, huh? Well, that I was not expecting.’ He started thinking. ‘How could he do that to me? How could he keep that away from me? It’s not like we were dating or anything like that, but still… He kissed me. He kissed me, for God’s sake! And it was not even a one-time thing. Does that not count for anything?! I’m such a naïve kid. How could I think that he actually cared about me? How could I actually think that there was a tiny possibility that he could like me? I’m so stupid. So, so stupid.’ He let out a cold laugh followed by another tear.

*Knock knock*

V jumped at the sudden noise. He wiped his tears away and cleared his throat.

“It’s occupied.”

*Knock knock*

“I said that it’s freaking occupied!” He yelled.

“Taehyung?” The person on the other side of the door asked.

V froze, looking at the door and trying to not make a sound.

“Taehyung.” The voice repeated. “Please, let me in.”

“If you want to go to the bathroom that badly there’s another one downstairs.” Taehyung said in a surly tone.

The other person let out a sigh. “Please… please let me explain.”

“There’s absolutely no need for that. I understood Jin quite well.”

“No, you didn’t, because not even I understood him.” J-Hope, who was the one talking to V, said now with a louder voice.

V was a little surprised by his words. But he decided to not say anything and keep quiet.

“Listen, Taehyung… I don’t know if Jin really thinks that I’m dating Baekhyun or if he was just joking, but I’m not. I’m not dating anyone.”

“Y-You’re not?” Taehyung asked in almost a whisper, but, maybe because J-Hope’s ear was completely pressed to the door, he heard him perfectly.

“No, I’m not.” He said softly. “Now, please, open the door and let me in so we can talk properly.”

Taehyung got up and slowly unlocked the door. Not wasting any second, J-Hope opened the door right away and faced Taehy
