It was Monday and Taehyung passed his whole day without paying any attention to his classes.

He wanted to meet with Jungkook to know if he had seen him with J-Hope and if he did, to make sure he wouldn’t tell anyone. But he couldn’t find him in any of their breaks and because he didn’t know which room he had classes in, the only thing left for him to do was go home and spend another sleepless night.

At the end of classes, Jimin and V said goodbye to each other because Jimin had dance club, so V was going home alone.

V started walking home. Even though he lived relatively close to his school and even though there were lots of people in the streets, V couldn’t help but to feel a little lonely.

As the time passed and as he was getting further away from school, a lot less students were walking near him and the streets were getting calmer and silent.

When the silence was so big that the only noises you could hear were the chirp of the birds and random steps, V heard a little click. At first he paid no attention to the sound, but one or two minutes later, he started to hear a click almost every ten seconds.

He looked around, but he didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. So he quickly looked behind him, only to find a boy, a little far away from him with a camera covering his face.

“Are you taking pictures of me?” V asked, after stop walking.

“I already told you.” The other boy said, taking the camera off of his face. “I only take pictures of beautiful things.”

V sighed and instead of answering him, he just continued walking, because he was with no patience to put up with Jungkook and his little childish comments.

“Are you following me or what?!” V asked slightly shouting, because Jungkook and his camera were starting to get on his nerves.

“What?” Jungkook asked. “Do you really think that I don’t have anything better to do, other than following you?”

“Honestly,… yes.” V said with a blank face.

“Whatever. But no, I’m not following you. My house just happens to be this way.

V was going to ignore him once again, but then he remembered that he needed to talk to him.

He stopped walking for a couple of seconds, just to make time for Jungkook to catch up with him. And when the latter was beside him, he started walking once again.

“What do you want?” Jungkook asked, raising an eyebrow at V.

“What makes you think that I want something from you? Can’t I just want some company while I walk home?”

“Company, yes. My company? Ahah, yeah right. Just tell me what you really want.”

“I…” V tried to think of a way to know if Jungkook had actually seen him with J-Hope, without having to ask him directly. “My mom told me that you went to my house to give me my jacket.”

“Yes. And?”

“Thanks.”

“You don’t need to thank me. I only offered to go there because I had to go somewhere close by anyways.”

“Oh, is that right?” V asked, letting out a nervous laugh. “Well, I’m thankful anyways.”
