Kim Taehyung was a normal teenager with normal looks, a normal life and average grades. He was from the United States, but because of his dad’s job he had to move to Korea with his parents.

“Okay, this is the last one.” Said Taehyung’s dad entering the new house carrying a bag.

“Taehyung?”

“Yes mom?”

“When you’re done carrying your things to your room, go say hello and introduce us to our neighbors. Oh, and take this cake with you.”

A few minutes later, Taehyung got out of his room and came downstairs. As he was getting closer to the kitchen he could smell the delicious chocolate cake that was waiting for him on the table.

“Ah… my favorite. Too bad that it’s not for me.”

*Ding Dong*

A few seconds later someone opens the door.

“Yes? Hello.” Said a young boy. He looked about the same age as Kim Taehyung, but shorter, and he too had brown hair, only darker.

“Hi. My name is Kim Taehyung but you can call me V. Me and my parents just moved here and wanted you to get this.” He said as he handed the short boy the cake. “My mom made it.”

“Thank you, it looks delicious. My parents are not home right now, but you can come inside if you want”

“Sure, if it’s not a problem.”

They entered the house and the short boy started to cut two slices of the cake while V was admiring the decoration of the house .

“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Jimin and I’m a sophomore in high school.”

“Really? Me too!” – said an excited Taehyung.

They started talking and talking (and eating cake) that when they realized what time it was, V had to leave to continue to help his parents. V arrived at his place in a blink of an eye and went to his room to start unpacking.

At night when he went to bed, he started to think about that day. Even though he was feeling tired and a little nervous because of all the changes in his life, he couldn’t help but feel really happy. He made a friend just as he moved here, and they even went to the same school. Maybe with a little luck they could be in the same class.
