Chapter 13

Campfire is a NIGHTMARE!

What are we? 7? For God’s sake, we’re high schoolers! Truth or Dare is a VERY LAME thing to do! We’ve been doing that since we’re kids.

“Yaja time is better!” Jaehyun grinned.

I nodded. Couldn’t agree more.

For Jaehyun, it would be fun, since he’s the youngest here. Hey, it would still be fun for me, too! I can talk banmal to my brother, and also Taeil Oppa and Hansol Oppa.

“Yaja time !” Yuta scoffed.

I sent him a really sharp glare for not supporting my idea, and Jaehyun’s idea.

“Truth or dare would be fun! Come on! We have new faces in our circle, Johnny, Taeyong, and Hansol. We could know each other better.” I didn’t like Yuta’s mischievous grin, at all! As his bestfriends, I know what’s the meaning of that grin!

“Know each other better? You mean digging into our embarrassing pasts more? Or making us doing something stupid like going to the convenience store with only wearing underwear?!” I kicked Yuta’s legs a bit hard, made him yelp in pain.

“Hey!” Yuta tried to take revenge, but I hide myself in Taeyong’s arms. Taeyong grinned, then wrapped his arms around me protectively.

“Let’s do it! Truth or dare!” Taeyong the betrayer shouted out loud.

“Hey! As my boyfriend, you have to agreed on my idea!” I pulled myself away from his embrace.

Taeyong chuckled softly as he pulled me closer. “Believe me, it would be fun!”

“You don’t know Yuta, Tae. He’s so sly. He’ll make us his target.”

“Is he that good? I doubt it.”

“Yeah, I’m that good! Stop whispering to each other, love birds! Let’s start our game!” Yuta put the empty bottle on the ground. “Where’s Suho hyung and Ten? Still buying sweet potato?”

Jaehyun nodded. “Mmm. Let’s start without them!”

“Let’s wait for them!” I tried to delay Yuta’s evil idea.

“They could join us later.” Yuta spinned the bottle.

I groaned softly as I buried my face on Taeyong’s neck. He drew circle on my back, trying to make me calm. Or not?

“Are you scared because you have a lot of embarrassing secrets, So Hyun?” Taeyong whispered as his hand was still patting my back.

“Shut up!” I hugged his waist tighter, making him letting out a little laughter.

“Yuta is good, very good in this. Just see, he’ll make us his target! Or maybe just me. He always does that.”

“Are you trying to make me jealous?” Taeyong’s voice sounded so sad, but when I looked up at him… his eyes were twinkling playfully.

I pinched his cheek. “Jealous to that squid? Oh please, you’re better than him. You shouldn’t be.”

Yuta cleared his throat. “This squid would make you suffer, Kim So Hyun, just see!”

The bottle pointed at Johnny.

“Oh, !” Johnny was hiding his face in his palms.

Yuta grinned. “Truth or Dare?”

“Dare!” Johnny answered quickly.

“John, believe me, Yuta’s dare is very scary!” I warned Johnny. “Like… scary, scary.”

“I doubt it, Sohyun.” Johnny shook his head.

“So, dare?” Yuta asking again.

Johnny nodded.

“Alright. I dare you to hold the sign ‘I am gay’ in front of our school’s gate for 2 hours after school, and you have to wear your briefs only.”

“WHAT? NOOOOO! HOW ABOUT MY CHICKS?! I DON’T MIND WITH THE BRIEFS! I’M PROUD WITH MINE! BUT… GAY? NOOOOO! I WOULD LOOSE MY GIRLS!!!”

“Told ya, John.” I reached out, patting his head.

“I choose truth! Please…” Johnny sobbed pitifully.

“No! There isn’t 2nd chance, John.” Yuta grinned.

“In Yuta’s dictionary, truth or dare always ends up truth or truth, because his dare is scary. I’ve warned you.”

“Yuta… please… please… please…. I promise I wouldn't try to hit on your girl anymore. Please….”

“Alright. I’ll give you the 2nd chance.”

Johnny threw his long arms around Yuta. “Thanks buddy!” And start showering Yuta with kisses on his head.

“Hahahahaha…” I laughed out loud. Yuta’s expression was priceless!

“Go away, idiot!” Yuta pushed Johnny hard until the taller’s but landed on the ground, but Johnny seemed too happy to avoid the scary dare, he smiled ear to ear and walked back to his seat.

“We’re back!” Suho Oppa and Ten brought a lot of sweet potatoes.

“What are you doing?” Ten asked Yuta.

“Truth or dare.”

Ten sighed. Just like me, he had known too well about Yuta’s evil tactics in the game.

“I better help Suho hyung prepare the sweet potato.” Ten flee.

“HEY! TEN! COMEBACK HERE YOU BETRAYER!”

Ten only answered my shout with an annoying loud laughter.

“So, back to the game.” Yuta the evil tried to focus us on the game, his game.

“Tell us John, do you think you’re better looking than Taeyong?” Yuta wiggled his eyebrows.

“Of course!” Johnny answered instantly, full of confidence.

“Hey! The question is weak!” I shou
