Beach Trip (Part 2)
SarangThere was no denying that whatever bitterness Kang Mo Yeon and Yoon Myeong Ju had for each other in the past was already buried inside a casket, six feet under the ground. The hardships and triumphs they had both faced in Urk not only opened their eyes to their compatibility as colleagues, but also made them realize that they can actually be each others' friend.
While their soldier boyfriends were busy taking care of the beach trip they knew nothing about, Myeong Ju had invited Mo Yeon to have lunch with her at a restaurant that served the best dakgalbi. Mo Yeon, being the big eater that she is, could not decline the invitation. Aside from the fact that she has been craving for dakgalbi in the past few days, she did miss seeing and talking to Myeong Ju. It's been a while since they had last seen each other, after all.
"So," Myeong Ju smiled as she poured some water into Mo Yeon's glass. "How are you and Si Jin?"
The latter took a quick sip from her glass before answering her friend's question.
"Better than ever." Mo Yeon smiled back. "What about you and Dae Young?"
"Better than ever, as well." A gentle laugh escaped Myeong Ju's lips. "You know, even if Dae Young and I have been dating for more than a year now, sometimes I can't help but ask myself if this is all real. The pain that we went through when we thought that our boyfriends were dead wasn't a joke after all."
