Si Jin couldn't help but wonder why Mo Yeon was being so silent on the way to the Yoo residence. Ever since he had fetched her from her house, they shared a quick kiss on the lips, and that was it. Si Jin couldn't take his girlfriend's silence anymore, so he decided to clear his throat as an attempt to break the ice. 

"Why are you so quiet?" Si Jin asked, glancing at Mo Yeon as he drove. "Did something bad happen at the hospital?" He added. 

"Aniyo." Mo Yeon shook her head, as she sighed. "I guess I'm just.. nervous."

"Nervous?" Si Jin's forehead creased. 

Mo Yeon looked at her boyfriend in disbelief. Was he playing around right now or did he have absolutely no idea as to why she was feeling nervous? The thought somewhat irritated her. 

"Yes, I'm nervous." Mo Yeon responded, trying to contain herself. "I'm nervous because I'm meeting your dad for the very first time!"

A small laugh escaped Si Jin's mouth as he heard Mo Yeon's explanation. It was a valid reason, anyway. They've been dating for more than a year now, but it was only today that Si Jin's father had been available to meet his son's girlfriend. Ever since his retirement, Mr. Yoo had been travelling around South Korea, making the most out of his 55 years of existence. 

"Are you seriously laughing over this right now?" Mo Yeon asked. "I can't believe you.."

Si Jin smiled as he turned to park his car just a few blocks before reaching the Yoo residence. He needed to calm Mo Yeon down. 

"Mo Yeon ah.." He said, in a very gentle tone. He was intending on holding her hand, but she wouldn't let him, obviously a sign that she was too stressed out. Mo Yeon kept her eyes fixated on the people passing by outside.

"Why would you be nervous? We're just meeting my dad. It's no big deal."
