As soon as Si Jin and Mo Yeon had arrived at the Yoo residence, they were welcomed warmly by Si Jin's father, Mr. Yoo Han Suk. Mo Yeon bowed in front of the much older Yoo as a sign of respect, as well as handed him a box of rice cakes that she bought from a restaurant near the Haesang Hospital. 

"It's nice meeting you, Mr. Yoo." Mo Yeon said shyly. "Si Jin told me that you love rice cakes, so I decided to buy you the best one in town."

Mr. Yoo smiled in reply as he placed the box on top of their dining table filled with a ton of food. As far as Mo Yeon knew, it was only the three of them who'd be dining tonight but the food that had been prepared was enough for her entire medical team. 

"Kamsahamnida, Mo Yeon ah." Mr. Yoo replied, his smile resembling that of his son's. "It is indeed very kind of you to have bought me this. Si Jin rarely brings home rice cakes even if he knows it's my favorite."

Mr. Yoo and Mo Yeon laughed, as Si Jin blushed in embarrasement. 

"Appa, you know I've been very busy lately." He said, scratching the back of his head. "Don't worry, I'll buy you a lot of rice cakes tomorrow."

"It's okay, son. I'm just teasing you." Mr. Yoo patted Si Jin's back as he gestured for him and Mo Yeon to take their seats. Si Jin, being the gentleman that he is, pulled out the chair for Mo Yeon, and then sat down when he felt that she was well-adjusted in her seat. 

"Just relax, okay? Everything's going to be fine." Si Jin whispered, to which Mo Yeon nodded. He held her hand under the table and squeezed it as a sign of assurance. Appreciating the gesture, Mo Yeon looked into Si Jin's eyes and gave him her warmest smile. 

"You know, Mo Yeon," Mr. Yoo started as he sat down, opposite the lovebirds. "Si Jin has dated quite a number of women before, but you're the only one he's introduced to me. You must be very special to him."

"Quite a number of women before huh.." Mo Yeon thought as she looked at Si Jin, who already knew that he was doomed. Sweat was starting to trickle down the sides of his forehead. Looks like the tables have been turned tonight. 

"Appa, let's not focus on what happened in the past." Si Jin laughed nervously, wiping the sweat off his forehead with a table napkin.

"Ani, I think we should continue talking about it. Right, Mr. Yoo? So that I can get to know your son even more." Mo Yeon said, a fake smile plastered on her face as she continued to look at a nervous Si Jin. All along, she thought that the only girl Si Jin had ever gone on a date with was the one in the picture that was sent along with Dae Young's package while they were at Urk. Now she knew that she was wrong. 

"I don't think we should dwell on it anymore, right, appa? I mean, it's all buried in the past now." Si Jin continued to reason out. "And those girls were never girlfriend-material. Only Mo Yeon is." He added, placing his arm over Mo Yeon's shoulder. The latter could only laugh in reply, but after dinner, Si J
