Dr. Kang Mo Yeon had just gotten off her night shift from the Haesung Hospital, when her phone began to ring. 

She stopped right in front of the hospital's entrance as she searched for her phone inside her worn out, brown shoulder bag.

"Yobosaeyo?" She answered, too tired to look at the caller ID before answering the call. "Who is this please?"

"Ya.." said the person on the other line. "I've only been away for two weeks, and now you're asking me who I am?"

A wide smile spread across Mo Yeon's face as she realized who the person on the other line was. Her boyfriend, Captain Yoo Si Jin, of the Special Forces. 

He had been deployed to Afghanistan for two weeks, so they had not seen each other in a while. Si Jin wasn't able to call very often as well, because of how hectic his life had been in one of the most hostile countries in the world. 

"So I'm assuming that you're back in Korea already?" Mo Yeon asked. "If you are, show up at my place in 30 minutes."

"Wow, so demanding." Si Jin was quick to reply. "Just a few seconds ago, you asked who I was, and now you want me at your place? You're really one of a kind."

Mo Yeon laughed at her boyfriend's sarcasm. He just wasn't Si Jin without the playful banters that added a lot of spice into their relationship. 

"I know you miss me, Captain Yoo Si Jin." Mo Yeon smiled. "So I'll see you at my place in a bit, okay? Bye!"

Before Si Jin could even answer, Mo Yeon kept her phone in her bag and happily skipped towards the nearest taxi station. 

She was seeing her boyfriend tonight, and excitement was definitely an understatement to what she was feeling right now.

After taking a nice, warm shower and changing into her most comfortable clothes, Mo Yeon started lighting some of the candles that Si Jin had bought for her room. It was the ones she liked the most; white in color with an alluring vanilla scent. 

Whenever Si Jin was around, she always made sure to light these candles. Not only did it make her look "beautiful", but it made them remember the very first night they had spent at her humble home; the night that was indeed just the beginning of everything. 

"You're really setting the mood, aren't you?"

Mo Yeon was startled upon hearing that overly familiar, deep voice that she missed so much. 

As she turned, Si Jin was standing by the door of her room, looking absolutely handsome in his simple white v-neck and khaki pants.
