JB was sure that the worst days of his life were upon him.   That was what it felt like, at least. Days had passed, so many of them, and he’d had absolutely no contact with Aspen, no matter how many calls he made, or voicemails and text messages he left and sent. He had been barred from going to see her, because of school and work, and with each day that passed his torment grew; with each day that passed, it seemed as if Aspen was drifting further and further away from him.   He couldn’t take it anymore; none of his methods were working, and he had stopped caring about putting priorities before her. He opted to skip his last class of the day and made his way over to Aspen’s house, parking on the curb outside to wait.
