Present Day   An ambush was waiting for JB when he got home.   It was Saturday, and he’d spent a full day at work; he would have stayed longer if his manager would have permitted it, but out of concern for his wellbeing, eight hours was all that he would allow. With no other choice he returned to his dorm, to shower and settle in for a night of mindless television with the help of Netflix; had he not worked he would have gone to the gym on campus, or done some plays on one of the pitches at Soccer Planet (UM didn’t have a men’s soccer team, but he practiced then more than ever), but he was too tired to do much else with his night.   It was almost nine at night when he returned to his dorm building; he left his car in the nearby parking lot and dragged himself up to his dorm, only to find three people standing outside of his door.   “There he is,” one of them announced, and JB frowned as he recognized the voice.   “Yugyeom?” As he drew nearer to them he could make out their features better; sure enough it was Yugyeom standing outside of his door, accompanied by BamBam and Jackson. “What are you doing here?”   “Where the hell have you been?” Jackson demanded in response, planting his hands on his hips as he turned to face him.   “I was at work…”   “Do you know how long we’ve been waiting here?”   “Waiting here for what?”   “For you!” With a sigh JB reached them and turned his attention to his door, unlocking it and leading his friends into his dorm room. “What are you about to do?”   “Nothing,” JB responded as he kicked off his shoes, carrying them over to his closet. “Absolutely nothing.”   “Good, then you can come with us.” JB groaned.   “Do I have to?”   “Yes,” Jackson responded promptly, then gestured with his hand towards the bathroom. “Hurry up and shower and change.”   “I really don’t feel like-”   “I don’t care, just move.” He was herded towards the bathroom and pushed inside, and the door closed firmly behind him.
