The sound of an opening door, and I raised my head.

"Back from work?"

The door shut quietly.

"There weren't many customers today."

Youngjae's tired voice swept across the room.

A familiar hand gently curled its fingers over mine.

"What're you doing?"

A kiss on my cheek.

"Thinking."

"About what?"

"Our wedding."

"You still look exactly the same.

Five years, and you would have thought there'd be more wrinkles, at least."

The corners of my mouth lifted. 

"Well, you've aged quite a bit.

You might be my dad."

"Why thank you, your father is very handsome."

The sunlight streamed in, only slightly hindered by the rice papers covering our windows.
