"Hey Tiff" Jessica grumbled and earned her friend's attention

 

 

"Yes Jessi?" She asked as she closed her book and shifted her attention to her friend.

 

 

"I've got one hell of a problem" the blond fessed up

 

 

"Tell me" she encouraged.

 

 

"You know that the exams are after the spring break?"

 

 

"Of course I do?"

 

 

"Good for you"

 

 

"You didn't?!" She exclaimed, shocked- or maybe not at all.

 

 

"I was asleep I think... And I only heard of it today when the prof reminded us"

 

 

"So? What's the problem at hand? You have the break to study" she shrugged, stating obviously.

 

 

"What am I to study if I don't even have notes?!" She complained, which, she didn't know was heard by someone else other than Tiffany.

 

 

" for you, that's why you shouldn't think of sleeping as a subject" Tiffany mocked

 

 

"Yeah right, just lend me your notes you pink monster"

 

 

"How about no? I planned to study with Yuri in the far far away land" she stated dreamily, earning a scoff from the other.

 

 

"Duh, take me with you then!" She ordered impatiently.

 

 

"No is no Jessi, it's our alone time~. So just look for someone willing to teach you, or some fool who will lend his or her notes to a lazy idiot like you-" Tiffany started ranting but was interrupted by a certain voice of a certain midget.

 

 

"I'll be one" the midget breathed, earning wondering stares from the two eyecandies.

 

 

"What midget?" Jessica scoffed, earning a slap on her arm, she glared at the eyesmiling pig beside her.

 

 

"What is it Taeyeon?" Tiffany gently asked.

 

 

"I.. I'll be a fool and lend her my notes" she explained as she fidgeted.

 

 

"Really?!" Jessica exclaimed, the bratty, unwelcoming tone was replaced by gladness,and twinkly eyes. Taeyeon just stood there mesmerized and just nodded.

 

 

"Taeyeon, are you sure? When will you study then?" Tiffany asked with concern.

 

 

"I-I'm sure, o-one of my friends will study with me so there's no problem" the shorter explained as she handed all her subject notebooks to Jessica.

 

 

"Be sure that your handwriting isn't sloppy, or else"  she warned.

 

 

"D-Don't worry Jessica-ssi, I always make sure that they're neat-" Taeyeon started defending but was interrupted by a voice near the door.

 

 

"Taeyeon unnie, club's starting" Seohyun, their junior informed.

 

 

"Erm... Guess I'll be taking my leave then" Taeyeon said, scratching her nape timidly. "Have a good  vacation Jessica-ssi, Tiffany-ssi" then she made her way out the classroom door.

 

 

The blonde let out a long sigh at the sight of the leaving midget.

 

 

"Jessi, where the hell did you learn to conceal your romantic excitement by being y when she's in front of you?" Tiffany curiously asked, amused by how her friend could hide her real desires.

 

 

"Don't make it sound like I'm addicted to her Tiff"

 

 

"You aren't?" Tiffany feigned being surprised.

 

 

"Oh shut up" Jessica just rolled her eyes, then a small smile crept up her face.

It's the last two days of the spring break. Jessica has been studying for the whole time, she's sacrificed her precious vacation for notebooks and books,for formulas and scientists. She also reviewed and copied Taeyeon's neat notes. Heck, the midget even put up some guide questions and answers on the sides.

 

 

She has studied 9 subjects and this was the last one, why does she have so many anyway? She was reading and writing repeatedly, then it somehow crossed her mind to flip the notebook, making scraps of paper fall to her study table. 

 

 

She curiously stared at the papers and her eyes widened at what she saw. Her name was written so beautifully in different fonts and was even colored in accordance to her favorites, though that wasn't all. She looked at the next one and saw drawings of herself, when she's sleeping, staring  blankly outside, confused of whatever the teacher was teaching, and many other expressions, then she flipped the last one, which made her cheeks flush in red.

 

 

'I love Jessica Jung' was written and adorned by hearts of different colors and sizes on the side, some other random words were also written, maybe different languages? 'Je T'aime' , 'Ti amo', 'Aieru' , 'Mahal Kita' , 'Wo ai ni' , and many others. She gathered all of it and laid it in her box of precious things.

 

 

An idea then came to her mind and took her pen and Taeyeon's notebook.

School resumed, students entering the school gates with sluggish steps, still having a hangover over the short break. One wasn't though, she was, in fact excited.

 

 

"Jessi, how come that your so excited over classes? I'm completely not pleased of school resuming" Tiffany asked her as they walked- well, Jessica partly skipping- towards their classroom.

 

 

"Hmm? I'm normal!" Jessica exclaimed, her pitch higher than normal and her body radiated happiness, making Tiffany shake her head.

 

 

"Maybe you went crazy over studying the whole break?" She asked, bursting Jessica's bubble of happiness and she turned grumpy. "Oops" was all she could say when they reached the classroom.

 

 

"I'm going over to Taeyeon" Jessica informed, with no more grumpiness. "Taeyeon" she called as she reached the other's desk

 

 

"O-oh, how's the break for you?" The surprised bookworm asked.

 

 

"Not good, damn exams" the taller one complained, earning a chuckle for the other.

 

 

"Were my notes of any help?" Taeyeon asked and Jessica beamed, which weirded her out because the ice princess would never beam with happiness but still thought it was cute and she should do it more often.

 

 

"Oh right!" She exclaimed and rushed to her own desk and back to Taeyeon's "Here" she said as she placed the notes on the latter's desk.

 

 

The smile on her face vanished as she saw her notebook- the top on to be precise- her gaze turned back to Jessica's grinning face, Taeyeon gulped hard and again stared at her notebook.

 

 

"Then, I'll be over at my seat" Jessica informed, she walked ahead then glanced at Taeyeon who was now shaking her notebook crazily and became pale when she didn't find what she was looking for. "Oh! Taeyeon!" Jessica exclaimed then came back to Taeyeon's place 

 

 

"Y-Yeah?" She asked with a shaky voice as she reordered her things

 

 

"Want to review with me for a little while?" Jessica asked with a smile

 

 

"S-sure" Taeyeon agreed though she didn't really want to as she was afraid that maybe Jessica has known her feelings by now, but she couldn't really say no to that angelic face.

 

 

"Okay, then, would you please ask me the question on the last page of that notebook?" Jessica asked in particular and pointed at the topmost notebook.

 

 

Although Taeyeon was still flustered, she wondered why Jessica would like that question in particular, whatever question that is. 'But did I write a question there?' She asked herself as she proceeded with the notes.

 

 

"Who do you like?" She asked, her eyes widened up when her brain processed the question, she looked up at Jessia with hanging.

 

 

"Close it" Jessica teased as she held Taeyeon's chin up and closed . "There."

 

 

"Umm... So?" Taeyeon asked, more bravely this time.

 

 

"You"
