"Yah ByunTaeyeon!" Taeyeon heard someone call her name- or rather nickname before entering her classroom.
"The hell Yul?! Why would you call me that out loud?!"
"What?"
"Whatever, what do you want?"
"Chill my friend, I need to talk to you" her friend, Yuri stated and pulled her to the side- which was near the staircase.
"What?"
"Can you like, atleast pretend you're happy to see me?" Yuri demanded.
"Omo! Yul! Nice to see you again after ten minutes since we went to school together!" Taeyeon acted "So, what is it?"
"You're so sweeeeet!" Yuri exclaimed and pinched both Taeyeon's cheeks.
"Ey staph" she spoke, trying to remove Yuri's hands off her cheeks "Tell me, what is it? Class is starting in five minutes! I can't afford to be late when I'm just beside my classroom, can I?"
"So uptight! That's why you should date Tae"
"Here we go again, I already told you. I won't-"
"Won't date till you finish university, I know I know"
"There were done here-"
"Hey! Nope! What about Tiffany then? Don't you have a crush on her?"
"E-Eh?"
"Tae, you should atleast try to ask her out on a date! Are you going to live your life alone?"
"Yul, that's impossible! I never talked to her! And-"
"You should try to! You won't even lose anything, we only have next week left for school, and before that, you should look for someone to accompany you on summer break"
"What? Ehhh? Why? Are you leaving? Are you dying?! You should've told me earlier Yul! I haven't prepared a red gown yet!"
"Shut it! I'm leaving with my girlfriend for a month, you better not stay cooped up in your hive"
"You're leaving me?"
"Unless you wanna be an action scene spectator " Yuri replied with a wink.
"Ew"
"But seriously Tae, just ask her out!"
"Fine, whatever, I'll try"
"Trying is different from actually doing it Tae"
"Fine, I'll do it geez. Now can we enter the room?"
"Yes yes! You promised! If you don't do it you'll have to throw those peas away!"
"How come that my peas are always taken hostage?!"
"Well-" then the bell rung "Ooops, let's go" and pulled Taeyeon again towards their classroom.
"Hey wait!" Taeyeon stopped before Yuri could open the door.
"what?"
"what about the princess?!"
"Who?"
"The princess duh, what if she murder me for trying to flirt with her bestfriend?! Yul I don't wanna die yet"
"Oh well, you promised" Yuri just replied,she herself couldn't think of what to do if the 'princess' were to find out, that would be like hell- or rather hell itself, a frozen one.

It's already the last period, and Yuri has been boring holes into Taeyeon's skull for hours already.
She's tried to catch Tiffany's attention many times but failed.
'okay, this is the last' she told herself 'this is the best I could do'. Then she started scribbling on a piece of paper, she crumpled it and aimed for Tiffany's place, she checked the wind, there was none coming in through the open window, she fired, and hoped that it landed on Tiffany's desk.
The course was going fine at first, but miraculously and unfortunately, wind blew, changing its direction, Taeyeon's eyes grew wide when she realized where it was going. 'No...No! Not there! Anywhere but there!' She screamed inside her mind, she looked over at Yuri who was sharing the same expression as her: scared.
Taeyeon felt a pair of eyes staring at her, and she regretted looking, it was the princess- Jessica, Tiffany's bestfriend and seatmate. Strange enough, Taeyeon understood that Jessica was telling her that they need to talk later, she gulped hard, and wished for the lesson to drag out longer, but of course it didn't, after 30 minutes, the bell rung, everyone standing up and packing their things, ready to go home. She saw Jessica go out the classroom, she sighed, hoping that Jessica forgot about it.
"Tae... My condolences, please greet my ancestors up there for me-"
"Shut up, what should I do?! She might kill me!"
"Oops! My girl is calling!" Yuri said and took her phone out, "Bye Tae!" Then she was gone, leaving Taeyeon behind.
"That girl! This was her idea to begin with!"
Frustrated, she stomped out the room, only to be met by a piercing pair of eyes, she cursed inwardly.
"Umm..pri- ... Jessica-ssi, I'm sorry for that, could you just-"
"Yes" Jessica spoke.
"Huh?"
"I'll go on a date with you" she said and turned around. "You better not be late" she added, leaving the dumbfounded Taeyeon behind.
"Eh?"

"As I was saying Yul, we will go on a date tomorrow" Taeyeon told Yuri who was hanging out at her place.
"How the hell did it come to that?!" Yuri exclaimed.
"I don't know!"
"Goodluck dear, and stay alert"
"Why alert?"
"What if this is just her plan to kidnap you? Then she'll torture you to death-"
"Quit it!" Taeyeon exclaimed.
"How come that she thought you liked her?"
"Well.. I didn't write Tiffany's name so.."
"You're. So. Stupid.!!! How could you not write that?! Gaah!"
"I know! I'm stupid! So you better help me pick out clothes instead of reminding me how stupid I was!"
"Just choose whatever!"
"Are you kidding?! Do you want me to be labeled a fashion terrorist by the no. 1 fashionista in school?! I should carefully dress"
"Then, let's ask Sooyoung for help" Yuri took her phone out.
"Wait! Sooyoung? Dude, she'll make me wear tons of clothes!"
"Well, in or out?"
"What about Yoona?"
"Sadly, my baby is out filming a drama"
"Can you remind me how you had such a big catch?"
"Ehem, it was a fine day-"
"Oh, yes, I remember now"
"Hmp! Sooyoung, yes or no?"
"Aish! Fine!"
"But Tae, I think you'll do just fine!"
"I need others' opinions, cause yours are unreliable"
"Don't tell me you want to impress the ice princess?"
"W-What?! Of course not! I'll only impress Tiffany! No one else"
"Fine fine, whatever you say. Oh, and Tae, I have two extra tickets heading to Boracay, wanna come with us? Bring Jessica over! Oh, I mean Tiffany"
"Aish! I don't know, keep it, I'll let you know later, if I'll be able to come home alive"

Taeyeon's PoV
I was walking towards Jessica with a smile on my face. How come I only realized her beauty? She might be even more- no... Tiffany is the prettiest.
Her blue dress swayed slightly because of the wind, now that I mention it, I was wearing a same colored top.
"Hello-"
"You're late" she stated, huh? I looked over my wristwatch, it was only 10:02 in the a.m, does two minutes count as being late?
"Huh? I'm just in time though?" I answered back but she just smiled,and started to walk away, she smiled... OMG she smiled?! The ice smiled?!
"What are you doing there? You might catch flies, close your mouth" then she giggled "I was only joking, now let's go" the world must be ending soon...
"Yah Kim Taeyeon, walk faster!" She demanded and I fastened up my face until I was behind her. "Walk by me" then she laid her hand out,I only stared at it. "My hand might fall off" with that said, she grabbed my hand...soft.
"Why did you even decide to have a date on an amusement park?" She whined and puffed her cheeks, cute. "It's sooo hot!" I was only staring at her.
"What's wrong?" Her face went from whiny to worried,I swear to tell Yuri how beautiful Jessica is when she's showing an expression other than her usually bored one.
"Hey" she softly called and touched my forehead, I winced, then I saw her eyes show a glint of ....sadness? but was immediately replaced, she then placed her arms on her side and looked down. "Am I boring you? Then maybe we should just leave-"
I stopped her from talking by ruffling her hair even if she's slightly taller than me, she looked up at me(cause she was facing the ground) slightly confused.
"I wasn't idiot, I was admiring how beautiful you are" I told her, that's true, she has a breathtaking beauty, that's why I'm mad at myself, one, is for assuming that she's ice cold, second, is for raising up her hopes and fooling her.
"Tss" she scoffed and looked away, wait, was she blushing?
"Is the princess blushing?" I joked around, I don't even know where the courage came from.
"Shut up" she mumbled and took money to pay tickets, I stopped her.
"Are you seriously going to pay?"
"Well yeah?"
"I will pay" then I took cash out.
"No need, I will-"
"Jessica... I insist"
"But..."
"Aigoo, it's fine, nothing much" then I finally handed the man the money.
"You're a beautiful couple girls" he said.
"H-Huh? No, we're-" I started explaining but Jessica cut me off.
"Well yes sir, thankyou" I shot her a 'what are you doing look' then she pointed on the side. 'Free headbands for couples' I just looked at her, stunned, really? For a hairband? "And this is a date anyway" she whispered near my ear, brrr, goosebumps!
"What type would you like?" The man asked us as he pointed behind him.
"Taeyeon, what would you like? I like the Mickey and Minnie one!" She exclaimed "You like it too don't you?" Ugh, how can I say no?! I nodded at her "Yeay! We'll get that sir!"
"I thought you were having second thoughts about going here?" I asked as I watched her wearing the Minnie hairband. "And hey! Why am I Mickey?!"
"I didn't say that! I just complained of the weather being hot" she stuck her tounge out, Jessica, stop being cute please? Where's that icy image?! "Aaannnddd, you are Mickey cause I'm Minnie!"
"You're such a kid!" I exclaimed "And does that even make sense?"
"I don't know" she shrugged.
"Jessica-"
"Sooyeon" she said, who?
"Eh?"
"Sooyeon"
"Who's that?" I asked and she glared at me, who the hell is Sooyeon?! "Erm..." Oh god, please, I won't complain of Jessica being too cute anymore so please bring that version back.
"You said you like me!" She exclaimed.
"Well...yeah?" Why do I need to lie.
"But how come you don't know of my Korean name?" She dully asked, aish, bipolar!
"Hey, sorry okay?" I asked, I don't like seeing her frown, why? Cause I'm a good kid! Nothing else... "Jessica-"
"Call me Sooyeon" Eh? She'll let me?
"Why?"
"Because I left ice princess Jessica at home, so I, Sooyeon, am here to take her place"
"Really a kid"
"Hey! But Jessica is so mature!"
"Yeah yeah, good thing you took your mask off, thankyou for doing it for me" I told her sincerely.
"Hmmp, I'm still mad, buy me ice cream"
"Are you sure you're Sooyeon?"
"Last time I checked, yes, why?"
"May I ask something?"
"Hmm?"
"Why is Jessica so different from Sooyeon?" I asked as I paid for the ice cream.
"Hmm, no particular reason, I think that's just kind of a wall I put up, I'm not really the word-type of person" then she resumed eating.
"Then, you don't have a boyfriend?"
"Stupid, why would I got out with you today if I had one?"
"But..it's hard to believe that someone like you has no one. Don't you have people head over heels for you?"
"There are, but they can't stand my intimidating aura, I was so surprised when that crumpled paper came flying to me" she teased, she's giggling again "Thankyou" she sincerely said before the dessert again. I felt pain? I don't know, in my chest, maybe guilt was consuming me?
"Stop it, I was running out of options then!"
"Yeah yeah, whatever you say~" she said and piched my cheek.
"Hey! Your hand is sticky ugh!" I complained and pointed to my cream stained cheek.
"Oh, didn't feel it sorry" she sheepishly said "I'll wipe it for you" then she proceeded to wipe my cheek with a tissue, so close, this is torture. Her scent is intoxicating. "There! Done." She exclaimed and moved away. "So, what will we ride first?!" She excitedly jumped up and down as she stood up. "Let's ride that one!" She said, pointing to the merry go round, really?
"Sooyeon" I called her, making her stop her tracks heading to the ride, she looked at me curiously "Let's take a picture"

The two girls are now walking towards the bus stop, the sun was almost setting.
"The view is so great, look Tae" Jessica said as she faced the horizon and the setting sun, Taeyeon was just beside her.
"It really is" Taeyeon agreed. "Sooyeon?" She called
"Hmm?" Jessica didn't look back and continued to look over the thin line, which made Taeyeon calm down
"I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"I.. I want you to know that I really had a good time today, thankyou for lowering your defenses just for me, for letting me see your inside, your heart..."
"You're so emotional" Jessica joked, she was already looking at Taeyeon
"But I... I know you'll hate me for this... I'm sorry..." Taeyeon was getting teary-eyed
"Say it, I promise not to get angry" Jessica assured and patted Taeyeon's shoulder
"I.. I made a mistake, it wasn't you who I wanted to go out on a date with... It was Tiffany, I was stupid to do that kind of method, I'm sorry Sooyeon, but I'm saying the truth when I told you I had a good time" Taeyeon confessed, she looked up at Sooyeon, whose face was blank
"It's fine" she smiled, but her eyes shouted pain, and Taeyeon didn't like that a bit "I'm sorry for assuming that it was for me, I should've asked you first"
"No, I-"
"My bus is here, see you next week" Jessica bid goodbye, without looking back, but Taeyeon could swear that a line of tear was rolling down the softhearted girl's cheek.

"So? How did it go?" Yuri asked Taeyeon who was slumped over at her desk
"Good, great even"
"Really? How come you look like that?"
"I told her the truth"
"Whoa, brave!"
"I'm not, I hurted her, she was so kind, yet-"
"Wait, kind? Who? Princess?" And Taeyeon just nodded
"Yes, Yul, she's not the y type, she's also cute, when her hair-"
"Okay, you're talking as if she's the one you like Tae"
"Eh? No! I- Tiffany's the one..."
"You sure?"
"Of course!" She beamed
"Owkaay? So? Everything's good! You won't have to pretend that you like her"
"But, I'm feeling guilty" Taeyeon mumbled as she saw Jessica enter the room, oh, with Tiffany
"Don't be, didn't she say that it's fine?"
"She did but-"
"Ey, stop, why not talk to her then? To clear it up"
"Maybe I should do that"
But days passed, it was finally Friday, the last day, and Taeyeon still had not talked to Jessica.
Everytime she tries to come close, the other will leave, when she tries to speak, she wasn't heard. Jessica was avoiding her.
The school bell rang, signalling for the lunch break
"Yuuul" Taeyeon whined
"What?"
"She's avoiding me!"
"Who? Jessica?"
"Hmm" she nodded
"Then don't try to talk to her anymore"
"I can't do that"
"Do you like her?"
"No! I already told you that I like-"
"I know! But lately Jessica's been the one you're talking about, and your date, about how she clung into you when and screamed like a dolphin when you entered the haunted house, how she got so competitive over your little shooting match, how beautiful she looked everytime she frowns"
"Those are just-"
"You should brace it, you know you're falling for her"
"But... I hurt her..."
"Don't give me that excuse Tae. Look, you're girl is leaving" and Yuri pointed to the door "Man up and confess!"
"I'm a girl though"
"Doesn't matter, now go!" And Taeyeon was pushed out
"Jessica!" She called, and the other fastened up her pace "Wait!" Then she caught the girl's wrist, making both of them stop on their tracks. "Can we talk?" No answer "Please?" When Jessica nodded, she pulled her on the side, and they went up the roof. "I'm sorry" she started
"For what?" Jessica finally found her voice "I told you it was fine"
"It isn't! Why are you avoiding me?"
"I'm not"
"Yes you are. You kept on running away, tell me why!"
"I wanted to put things behind okay?! I wanted to forget the happiness I felt that day, and to accept the fact that it won't happen to me again!" Jessica's crying now, Taeyeon raised her hand up to wipe the tears away but stopped midway, instead, she reached over for a hug
"Don't cry Jessica, please? This is breaking my heart" she whispered
"What do you need? Want me to match you up with Tiffany? Fine!-"
"Jes- .... Sooyeon, It isn't that"
"Don't call me Sooyeon"
"I like you"
"I said-.... What?" Jessica stared back at her, wide eyed
"I...you've been bugging my mind! Always entering my thoughts without permission"
"Why do you keep on lying Taeyeon? Don't worry, I'm fine, no need to stress yourself over this ice" Jessica said with a small smile on her then started to walk away.
"Sooyeon! Why can't you accept my feelings?!" Taeyeon shouted but Jessica was now gone "Aish!" She stomped her feet, then an idea came to mind. "So you want me to prove huh?"

"Hello! Mic test" the speakers boomed, catching everyone's attention "My name is Kim Taeyeon" the girl introduced. "And I'm about to sing a song, and I'm dedicating this to you... Please accept and don't run away"
"Taeyeon? Isn't that the girl you like Jessi?" Tiffany asked Jessica who was with her in the cafeteria
"Is she serious?!" Jessica mumbled
"Ehem ehem" the girl behind the speakers tested her voice then started

And with that, the line was cut, leaving some students laughing, and a certain one, flustered.

"So? What was that about Taeyeon?" Jessica spouted as soon as she twisted the doorknob open, but her eyes widened in shock, as she saw Taeyeon standing there in the middle, holding a bouquet of red roses.
"H..ehem, Hello Sooyeon" she greeted so brightly and walked closer to Jessica "I didn't think that you would come" and she pouted. "Anyway, may I say something?" She asked but received no answer from the still stunned Jessica. "I'll take that as a yes" she declared
"Sooyeon, I know that this is crazy, but I... I know that I've hurt your feelings. Trust me, I myself was broken, always feeling guilt eat me up, your innocent smile, your curious stares, scared expression, they were all imprinted on this mind and I won't ever forget or trade them for Tiffany's, I know I'm doomed, doomed by loving you, but Sooyeon, can you please give me a chance? Wait, why are you crying?" She asked and frantically wiped tears off
"Sooyeon, I'm sorry, am I being a burden? But I cannot take this anymore I'm sorry, Soo-" and she was cut off by a kiss on the forehead, Jessica immediately turned around, hiding away her blushing face
"I've loved you for so long you know" she suddenly fessed up, still not facing the shorter "I always catch myself stealing glances at you, admiring your dorkiness, being amazed of your talents, falling deeper for your heart"
"So... Can I court you now?" Taeyeon asked, grinning from ear to ear as she turned Jessica to face her
"No" Jessica flat out rejected, making a frown replace the grin
"Ehhhhh? But-"
"I'm not going to those measures, Kim Taeyeon, I'm making you mine and mine only starting this day, you must be prepared" she warned
"Anything for you princess" Taeyeon then kneeled on one knee like a prince
"So, I guess we'll be having a double date in Boracay?" Yuri, who suddenly appeared, spoke with a camera on hand, and a big smile on her face.
