Nothing Could Ever Replace You
NOTHING LIKE USEntering the spare key that Jimin snatched from Jungkook’s house on the keyhole, he entered Jungkook’s house and went inside Jungkook’s room once again.
“Kookie? I’m back again…did you eat the food that I left earlier?” Jimin strode onto Jungkook’s bed noticing the tray he left on the younger’s bedside which is still full of food, and untouched.
Jimin sighed for the umpteenth time, so he resorted into pulling the covers out of Jungkook’s body, only to be shocked by the younger’s state, the bed was slightly damp and so were Jungkook’s clothes, seeing that he was wearing clothes for outside sans the coat and boots, slightly wet, probably more wet before the comforter absorbed all the water, which explains the dampness of the comforter.
But what’s worse is the fact that the younger is unconscious, shivering and convulsing. Jungkook’s face is red from fever.
“Oh my god! Jungkook! What happened to you?!” Jimin panicked, feeling stupid for not checking the younger’s condition under the covers when he came earlier.
Jimin quickly got towels wiping Jungkook and went into the walk in closet getting fresh clean clothes for the younger.
“Gosh, Kookie! Did you go outside at dawn? It was pouring like crazy at that time, what were you thinking? Aish! I’m taking you to the hospital.” Jimin grumbled while tearing up, he was so worried.
Apparently, Jungkook had been sneaking out at dawn, waiting for Taehyung on their usual meeting spot by the bridge near the river bank, hoping for the latter to be there at some point.
Meanwhile, two cars parked outside a secret building where Bulletproof’s Headquarters is located.
Namjoon is first to knock on the secret passageway. A small window opened asking for their identity to access the building.
Namjoon voiced in, “This is Code Name: Monster. I’m here with Jin, Hope, and Suga. We’re here to talk with V.”
A sliding door appeared on the wall. The four entered once it opened heading straight into their boss V’s office.
Taehyung was busy talking on his phone when someone knocked on his door.
“Come in.” Taehyung hanged up.
Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok entered his office, all standing tall in front of Taehyung’s desk making him frown.
“What brings you guys here?” Taehyung was confused as to why his best men in the group Unit: BTS are there, unless they we’re being sent out on a mission by him, it was a rare visit indeed.
“Taehyung, we need to talk.” Namjoon spoke up first, being the leader of their group.
Taehyung was a bit taken aback by his team, they never address him by his real name when they are in the headquarters unless it was a serious matter.
“About what?” Taehyung cleared his throat, fixing his demeanor, keeping his boss façade.
“It’s about Jungkook.” Yoongi deadpanned.
Taehyung’s mouth got dry, “What? Why? What’s wrong? Did something happen to him? Is he hurt? “Taehyung immediately put his façade down widening his eyes with every question looking like a lost child.
“Dude, chill. We haven’t said anything yet. Calm your horses.” Hoseok chuckled at Taehyung’s reaction. If he didn’t know Taehyung well, he wouldn’t think that he was a bigshot boss in the mafia world, much more that it’s Bulletproof.
When it comes to love, Taehyung is dumb and stupid, which leads them in this situation. Taehyung can’t seem to make his decisions right, regarding with Jungkook that is, he was a lovesick fool.
Seokjin sighed, can’t anyone be an adult here for once? He was silent all this time so he decided to take the lead, not like any of the guys could make this easier.
“Taehyung, we think that it is best to tell Jungkook about this side of your life. The kid if suffering enough as much as you do. Probably worse.”
“What do you mean?” Taehyung frowned, not seeming to agree.
“Look Tae, Jungkook had locked himself inside his room this w
