Sanghyuk stares at the pizza in front of him. Jaehwan smiles weakly, as he cuts it into eighths.
“I'm going to get you to like pizza,” Jaehwan speaks, before sitting in front of Sanghyuk. Jaehwan pulls a piece for himself, smiling wide.
“Jaehwan. I said I can't,” Sanghyuk starts, before Jaehwan puts a small piece on Sanghyuk's plate.
“Sure you can,” Jaehwan counters, taking a bite himself.
“No. I can't,” Sanghyuk speaks, shaking his head.
“Try it.”
“I can't.”
“It's easy,” Jaehwan explains, picking up his slice. “Open.” He opens his mouth. “Close,” he mutters through the slide. “Bite and chew.” He sets the slide down as he chews and swallows. “And swallow.”
“Jaehwan. I don't think you understand,” Sanghyuk whispers, his piece still untouched. “I'm allergic to dairy.”
“Oh.”
Jaehwan slumps back in his chair. He looks at the pizza in front of him.
“I'm sorry,” he says, looking up at Sanghyuk.
“It's fine,” Sanghyuk speaks, gently pushing the piece onto Jaehwan's plate. “Just know when I say that I can't eat something, it means I actually can't.”
“I can do that,” Jaehwan whispers, smiling awkwardly up at him.
