Kyungsoo left the apartment soon afterwards, slightly dazed. Jae Joong had insisted that he should go home and speak to Sally the next day. At a loss as to what he should do next; he manages to find his way back to his apartment. He was still adjusting to the fact that Sally had history with his senior and he couldn’t help but feel a pinch of jealousy and anger towards his senior. Changmin had managed to obtain what he wanted, yet he just let her go with no reason. Kyungsoo couldn’t help but wonder if Sally would let him into her heart just like she let Changmin in? He sighed loudly as he tries to push those thoughts out of his head as he tried to go to sleep.

The next day Kyungsoo stood in front of the door to Sally’s apartment, he had already Jae Joong who said he would be at the studio and that Sally would be at home alone. He took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Jae Joong had said that he could just go in seeing at Sally may still be locked in her bedroom but to his surprise the door opened and a smiling Sally greets him happily.

“Hello! I wasn’t expecting to see you today!”

It takes Kyungsoo a few seconds before he gathers his thoughts, “I called Jae Joong.”

“He’s not here though…” Sally says cocking her head to the side.

“Uh… I just came to see how you are doing…” Kyungsoo replies.

Sally thinks for a few minutes before it makes sense what he means.

“Well come in…”

They sit down and Sally hand Kyungsoo a cup of tea. She chats causally about the events in her day, chuckling softly as she talks about a silly event that happened at work.

“Are you ok?” Kyungsoo blurts out. His face heating up as he realized how strange he was acting.

Sally laughs softly, “I’m guessing Jae Joong told you about what happened at Changmin.”

A little pain shoots through Kyungsoo’s heart as he hears her speak his name.

“He did…” He says nervously.

“You know what?” Sally starts after a long pause, “I’m actually fine.”

“Really?”

“I guess that is what had shocked me the most about meeting him yesterday. I thought there was going to be so many emotions; anger, sadness and everything in-between; but instead I felt nothing, absolutely nothing at all…”

“Nothing at all?”

“Yeah… didn’t even really feel much anger…”

“Does that mean I still have a chance?”

It takes a few moments of silence before Kyungsoo realized that he had just said his thoughts out loud and judging by Sally’s confused expression, she was equally as surprised at his outburst as he was.

“What?” She says after a few moments.

Kyungsoo quickly tries to explain himself; stuttering as he tries to explain. “I’m so sorry; I didn’t mean to say that… I mean I do think that but I know that now is a bad time, I mean you did see your ex fiancée just recently; even though you say you’re fine… I’m so sorry…”

Kyungsoo pauses when Sally softly puts her hand on his arm, “It’s ok, really, don’t worry about it.” She says before changing the topic and soon the evening comes to an end. Sally walks with Kyungsoo to the door.

“Well, I guess this is good night…” Kyungsoo says, cringing internally at his blunder earlier that night. He was about to say something; still wanting an answer, but he didn’t want to embarrass himself more than once in one night. He presses his lips together and smiles before turning and walking down the hallway feeling a little hopeless.

“Kyungsoo...”

Although he hears her, he doesn’t turn around, afraid of what she was going to tell her.

“You do have a chance…” She pauses. “Good night.”

Kyungsoo turns around only to see her enter the apartment and close the door, he could have called out to her, but instead he just stood there, stupidly smiling to himself.

Now that he got hope, Kyungsoo is determined to try his best to do all that he can do to increase his chances with Sally; and if it involved asking Sehun for his girlfriends contact details, he would do it without a second of hesitation. Of course, Sehun could not keep his mouth shut and soon the rest of the members are in on the plan (and of course a ton of teasing.)

Tiffany agrees to meet him at a Café near his house. He arrives there a little earlier than agreed but is surprised to see that Tiffany is already there waiting for him. They are seated in a dim lit corner in case there are any fans lurking around.

“I’ll get straight to the point.” Tiffany says as she sips her coke. “All you need is a bouquet of ice cream.”

“A bouquet of what?”

“Ice cream, I’m telling you; that’s all you need.”

Kyungsoo thinks for a moment, “So a bouquet of flowers… except with ice cream.”

“That’s exactly it!”

“Ok… but why ice cream?”

“I’m telling you, it will help you ok? Don’t ask too many questions; Sally is a complex creature that sometimes cannot be explained by science ok?” Tiffany laughs. “Just be honest and get the ice cream ok?”

After the meeting, he went to look for a shop that would actually make them but most of the shop assistants just looked at him like he was crazy. But he eventually found a shop that knew exactly what he wanted and said that it could be collected in a three days.

“I guess d-day is in three days huh…”

Sally was running late which was actually quite a rare event. AS she was walking out the door Jae Joong laughingly waves. “Have a nice day today!”

JaeJoong has been a bit too happy recently, Sally could tell something was up, but then again Tiffany has been acting weirdly for the past few days laughing as if she knew something was up.

“Hey did you remember to bring you glasses?” Jaejoong shout after her.

“OH I forgot.” She says as she runs back in to get her glasses before hurrying back into her car and starts driving toward where she and D.O had agreed to meet.
