It’s just, they’ve spent two whole years flitting around each other like this and Soohyun is pretty confident that Chansung likes her back and she likes him and he spent his whole free period with her and lent her his jacket and shielded her from the rain and waited for her and now they’re both guaranteed to be late for the one class they share and…

And finally she just plucks up her courage and kisses him on the cheek and says thank you.

The way he grins back at her makes everything feel happy and good and warm, even as the bell rings and they’re running to class and even when the teacher stops and scolds them in front of everyone. She has to fight her smile as she bows her head and apologises, spotting two empty seats and going straight to them.

Her nervousness stops her from meeting his eyes as he drops into the chair next to her instead of sitting somewhere else. It sort of feels like a declaration and her mind swirls with questions, wondering if this all means they’re together now.
