Eventually he had to get up to toss the in the trash. Chansung was half-asleep by then and Khun kissed his temple and his crown before heading to the bathroom.

He came back with a warm, wet washcloth and took his time wiping every inch of Chansung’s skin.

There was a feeling of panic rumbling in his gut, wanting to rush and do everything he could possibly think of with Chansung right this second, but reason told him that they should have years. They should go slow and learn each others bodies with care.

He should stop being insecure, stop being hasty…

But it was easier said than done and he just…

Had a whole lot of excuses really.

Nichkhun can’t help sighing at his own uselessness sometimes. But, he feels a little better about it when ChanSung stirs and reaches out for him, so maybe it’s okay.

Or at least it will be, someday. He’ll take his time and grow into someone that he can respect, maybe even like, and he’ll go at his own pace and that’s okay too.
