Adolescence
Description
Adolescence
/adəˈlɛs(ə)ns/
Puberty; when a child grows into an adult
The most painful thing about life is growing up.
You will always remember the name of your first love, your first boyfriend, their faces, their voices, and how they still haunt you in dreams sometimes. You will be reminded of him whenever a song came up, or when you smelt a familiar scent on the street. First loves might not be forever, but the scar will remain.
Foreword
"Don’t tell her how our lips played with poetry and how we dared
to dream under the light of the taciturn satellite. Skip the part where we
fought dragons together and how we named each other’s scars."
A.A. Dizon (A Poem From Your Ex-Girlfriend to the New Love of Your Life)
Dear readers,
The description and foreword might sound very angsty and bitter, but trust me, this is the first fluff I have ever written in such a long time. I try to make it as close as possible to real life events that happened to myself, my friends and some of the relatives I know. And please, give the first chapter a try before you realize this story will give you lots of lemons or candies.
Thank you. Happy reading!
