Lee Jieun exited the convience store and quickly ripped the wrapper off of her ice cream. "Tasty," she whispered as she ate her strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. It was an unusually warm day in Feburary: when she had left school and felt the sun beaming against her skin, she knew ice cream would make the day perfect.    When she stopped in front of the trash can nearby the store's glass window, she heard a boy laugh behind her. Jieun spun around and saw a familiar looking boy grin at her. He was a bit taller than her and he was quite adorable. She smiled at him awkwardly and turned her head away. He seemed like he was the same age as her but it was all just weird to Jieun. Because she felt something on her cheek, she checked the store's glass window once more. Jieun wiped off the cream on her cheek and the boy smirked.   She peered over her shoulder, but the boy wasn't there. Jieun thought the boy had left her alone after laughing the first time but it seemed like he was playing tricks on her now. If he wasn't behind her, then where?   It turned out that he wasn't behind her; he was beside her.   "Huh...? But I didn't see him in the mirror..?" Her heart started to beat faster. "I should have seen his reflection... unless I didn't notice..." To make sure she saw correctly, she took off her round glasses and blinked several times. Jieun put her glasses back on and nervously looked in the mirror once more; she could feel the boy smiling at her.   The boy's reflection wasn't there but he was right beside her.   She felt a chill on her spine. Jieun slowly turned her head towards the boy and the boy laughed and grinned.   She screamed and sprinted from the store as her short brown hair flew all over her face. Her glasses were bouncing up and down from her nose and sweat continuously came down on her forehead. When she reached home, she fell onto her knees in front of her front door.    "I..I .. What the hell?!?" She panted for several minutes with her glasses misplaced on her face. Jieun couldn't believe what she had seen. "I was scared all right... but why do I feel like I have seen him before...? What if he's manipulating my thoughts? Aish!!!! Whatever!!! What is happening to me ?!?" Jieun furiously shook her head.   Later in the evening, she didn't feel hungry so she went straight to her bed. And because of what happened earlier in the day, she couldn't sleep at all. She was still in shock and she truly hoped it wouldn't happen again. The thought of seeing a familiar boy stuck in her mind the whole night. 'Nice, kept maroon hair, both ears pierced, semi-prominent nose, and a cute smile... who is he?'   ~   For the whole week, Jieun could not get any sleep. She was thinking too much about what had happened back in the convience store. Whenever she went to school or home, she had felt like someone was following her. She hadn't seen the boy since but she had a hunch it was him.   "As long as I don't actually see that ghost... and as long as he doesn't do anything to me.. I think I should be fine..." Jieun muttered.    When she had almost fallen down the long flight of stairs at her school later in the week, Jieun had felt like someone saved her. It was certainly odd because there was no way she could have been saved: her back was facing the stairs going down when she had twisted her foot coming from upstairs. When she was falling midway, her whole body froze. Jieun closed her eyes tightly as she was slowly pushed back on the platform. Her heart was beating like crazy and she felt like she was about to faint any minute.   Jieun looked around to s
