The next day, I woke up feeling unexpectedly fresh. I was determined to put whatever madness I had experienced yesterday at Taeyeon's place behind me. After all I've been tortured by thoughts of her for long enough. I really needed to move on from that nightmare. I decided that I was never visiting her place again; what if I bumped into that crazy woman? I didnt need any explanation from their mother either.... I actually felt a little bad for Mrs. Kim. I remembered that she really did treat me like a son during the time I dated her daughter. She was a kinder woman than Taeyeon ever was. I always wondered if she knew what really happened

Oh well.

I put on a comfortable pair of jeans and a simple white t-shirt and left my room, to find Chanyeol sipping on his morning coffee. His face lit up when he saw me.

"Yo! Good morning!" He beamed

I smirked at him, "Hey Chanyeol.... wow you look good for someone who was totally wasted last night",

Chanyeol's smile broadened and he chuckled, "Baekhyun-ah I really owe you for  taking care of me while I was drunk rather than killing me. Dude, you're a true friend, man", he said

I scoffed at him playfully, " Yeah yeah you're really blessed to have me in your life, you big baby..... anyways how are you possibly not hungover right now?" I asked

Chanyeol' s smile faded a little and he looked embarassed.

"To be honest, Ji-Eun's been ordering hangover soup for me. Its thanks to her that I'm not a complete zombie right now," he said

My kind jolted at the thought of her, and just talking of the devil, the elevator gave the familiar "pinggg" sound and out stepped Ji-Eun,  her hair flowing behind her. She was holding the morning paper and when she spotted me, she paused a little before giving me a small smile.

It was almost a reflex that I returned her smile with. I immediately remembered the hundreds of reasons why I shouldn't have any hopes and why I should just dissociate from her. The image of Taeyeon surfaced on my brain just then. I blinked out
